YA, it was chicken with rice, cauliflower, and potatoes, there were few spices in it and im assuming thats what it was but man. The poor kid took two bites and started itching his lips and said mooommy ouchy!!! I gave him some benadryl and a bath and he was ok by bedtime.

you think it's tumeric? The only reason I mention it is because I just made two different curry dishes (chick peas/mushrooms) and I used tumeric in both.

No, we didnt use tumeric in this one. He has actually had tumeric with success though in several different dishes. It was just a dash of salt, pepper, and mixed spices

Ya. I kinda expected food allergies to be honest. Im allergic to fish/seafood and we have alot of nut allergies in the family too. Alot of docs say it has NOTHING to do with genetics but My gram, my dad, and me all have the same allergy. Thankfully Zaid has had fish and no probs we just havent tried seafood yet. He has also had peanut butter too and no probs. So if he is sensitive to spices, maybe he will just grow out of it...who knows

yeah I am allergic to shrimp and my bro is allergic to certain seafood, including shrimp. It has to be somewhat genetic. My parents refuse to have anything to do with seafood other than fish so I don't know if they are allergic or not.

I hope he feels better!

So I got the wipe warmer today and mixed a little wipe solution with aloe vera, calendula., witch hazel, tea tree oil and vegetable glycerine. Just wringing it out of the wipes cured my super dry hands. That stuff is awesome! Let,s see how the wipes perform. :)

Jona ate pasta today, yeah!!! I made sundried tomato sauce and he liked it... finally, we are getting somewhere with food.

I wish I would have used a wipe warmer bc diaper changes were crazy bad for a long time but we got thru it and now my big boy is just about ready to potty train. Can hardly believe it

Hi everybody,

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I went back to work last Monday and we are still trying to adjust. Our routine is working pretty well: I leave for work at 5:30, Sebas stays with daddy and he drops him off at day care between 8-9. Then I go nurse him at 11, and pick him up at 3. Sebas is doing really well, I expected a little more of an adjustment but he is just happy playing around with the toys. Being alone with the baby is making Justin feel more confident about taking care of him, which I'm really happy about. They have their little alone bonding time :)

Sebas had a cold this weekend, but he's good now...I caught the cold too so I'm home today with the little chubbers.

Also...Sebas is 4 months old today

Vi - Hope you're enjoying your trip!

Zaidsmommy - aaww poor Zaid. hope you can find out what caused the allergy soon

jaimemcd - Welcome! Those first weeks are definitely a trip, right?

I'm sorry to see that instead of adding to this thread, we're now separated in regional mommy threads...but oh well, whatever makes people happy

Saludos,

Caro
