@ Autumnchick: Wow I envy you. Even though my tear wasn't bad, the midwife said there wouldn't have been any if Jona hadn't had his fist in front of his head. Grrrrrr. But Nessa really I have to say - I did not feel the tearing at all (and I had no pain meds, no epidural or anything), for the stitches she gave me a quick shot of lidocaine, so I didn't feel anything. So don't worry!

Just ask. A placenta previa or a low lying placenta at your gestational stage is nothing bad. It should move up the further along you are getting. MIne was low lying early on but at 20 weeks it had moved upward toward the back.

I called. The nurse said I could go in today or watch and wait. I'm still spotting tonight, so I'm going in tomorrow to ease my mind. Nothing hurts, just an occasional pull here and there, but this is causing too much worry.

Carol Anne, go in tomorrow. They'll check the baby's HB and probably do an US just to make sure he's ok. Take it easy on yourself. Just know this, as of right now, there is nothing that you or any doctor can do for you. That is what my doc told me. Let nature take it's course and roll with it. I'll keep you and the baby in my thoughts and prayers. (((((((((((((((Carol Anne))))))))))))))))))) :star:

@Caybee: All the best tomorrow. I'm sure baby is fine but better be safe than sorry. Good luck.

@Nessa: When you are happily laboring along, wanting to push and having people count to 10 for you (they didn't do it for me...I would have killed them) you will not feel a tear or cut. The head pushing through is so much pressure that you'll basically go numb in that area anyway. I didn't have any pain meds, got cut 3 times and didn't feel a thing (DH almost collapsed when he saw the OB cut me).

Caybee@ best of luck tomorrow, I'm sure everything will be alright, positive energy on your way!!!!!!!!!! :star::star:

Nessa@ A few friends told me exactly the same, you won't even feel if they have to cut you or whatever happens in that area. Here Sofia is moving like a maniac, she definitely wants to get out....

Keep waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, so annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems that we are having the baby shower at my place on March 28th at 1pm and all the girls from this forum are more than invited.

Sil's three best friends are organizing it for me, I love those girls!! I still surprised that my In laws are not planning it for me, they threw beautiful baby showers for their daughters and this time they even gave us a hard time because we were planning to have it at a friend's house a little far from this area. Well, it is what it is right???

My best friends from Peru are giving me the stroller (Travel system -EVENFLO) as a gift, yay! Sofi got her first gift!!!!!

It's a little late and have to get ready for work tomorrow

have a good night everybody!

Hugs

I had bleeding at 6 weeks and 12 weeks and both times was advised to take it easy for a couple of days and it stopped. If it was a previa they would have told you, also your OB would advise on restrictions depending on if it was a partial or full previa. I was on pelvic rest and absolutely no nookie from week 13-22 because of that. My Previa moved at the 22 week u/s if it didn't they would have done another u/s at 28 weeks.

At it is now I am 35w+5d and start my weekly visits now. These last few weeks are getting so long.

Thank you all for your good wishes and positive energy. Baby is fine. Heartbeat was 141, and baby measured at 16 weeks 1 day, though I'm still officially at 15 weeks 5 days. The cervix was good and closed. Screen was facing away, and I didn't see any pictures this time, nor did I hear the heartbeat very well, but the tech assured me the baby is fine.

As for the bleeding, I do have a full placenta previa, so the doctor came in and talked with me about it. I'm scheduled for another ultrasound at around 20 weeks, and she said it may have moved by then. If not, they'll check again at 28 weeks. She said 9 times out of 10, it will move up and out of the way. She said if it does not by time to deliver, they'll do a C-section. So I'm still a little concerned, but I feel so much better knowing this is manageable and not too unusual, and that baby is fine. I'm on pelvic rest, and I'm going to stay off my feet as much as I can.

Thanks again. It helps a great deal knowing you all are there.

Hey girls!

I know I don't write much here but still wanted to let you know that Monday I will be induced.

I am so sick and tired of being pregnant, can't sleep anymore, lots of pain, etc.

I will post later how it went and maybe (if I can figure it out) also post some pics.
