I leave from San Antonio, to Atlanta and then to Lima....I will rest that night and next day another plane to Arequipa... But I don't care, I am sooooo happy that I am going to Peru  , it was not on my plans travel so soon, but I want my family be part of my pregnancy too and I rather do it before I get bigger :P.

I hope you have a fantastic trip. Take it easy on yourself and enjoy your time with your family. :star:

Zaid has woke up at 5am the past 3 mornings and just wants to lay in my arms in my bed and go back to sleep. I wont lie, Im kinda loving it. After having a baby who was never rocked to sleep, never woke up at night, never fell asleep in my arms, cuddling with mommy in bed is so nice

Congrats Maye!!! Welcome :)

2 more days until I see my little boy again!!!!!!!!

(And 3 days until Declan gets to meet Kavi :))

I miss Declan so much. He sounds older already on the phone (I know that is crazy, he has only been gone since Friday), but I swear, even the way he says "hi" sounds more mature than when he left!!!

It's still cute for me too, Luis leaves every morning for work by 5am and the boys wake up and come crawl into my bed and snuggle and go back to sleep. They're just getting kind of big now and they are total blanket hoggers.

Awww, it must be so hard. I remember when my mom took Eman away for the weekend and how I did everything I wanted to do but still felt this emptiness and sadness. I had "fun" but it just didn't feel right.

I know, Nizzy, I feel that way exactly!

He has been gone since Friday afternoon. The first day and a half were kinda cool ... I got a lot of cleaning and organizing done and I actually watched a DVD all the way through without interruptions. But from then on ... it has been so bizarre not having a toddler running around ... no goodnight kisses, no reading with him :( He does kiss the phone apparently when he talks to me at bedtime ... and every time his dad gets out the cell, apparently Declan starts screaming momomomomomom ......

We told my parents and his parents when the test came back positive. I wanted to be cautious and wait until I was at least 4 months along before announcing my pregnancy to friends and non-immediate family. However, I had wicked morning sickness, I'm a psychotherapist and during the first trimester, I kept having to run out of sessions to go throw up. So I ended up telling my clients because they were all worried I had some dread disease, so I had to tell them I was fine, just preggo. So it ended up that, after immediate family and my coworkers, I told my clients before I told my friends!

@ Mayenka, Congrats on your pregnancy! Wishing you a safe and healthy pregnancy.

Ladies, how did you announce your pregnancy and when? I'm wondering what to do.

Raven - I announced my pregnancy when I was 8+ weeks along with my family. I didn't do it until I was almost 5 mos along at work - I'm a big girl and I didn't hardly show until my 8th month. Crazy, yes, I know. Aside from that, my best friend announced to everyone that she was pregnant with her third child at 8 weeks. Sadly, she lost the baby the week before Christmas when she was 12+ weeks along. Now, poor thing, she has the terrible experience of everyone asking her - how ya feeling? how's the baby? when exactly are you due? and she has to tell them all that she lost it. I hope to God that you have a happy, healthy, no-unexpected-situations with your pregnancy, but for you to be so early along, I would keep it in for a little while longer. Make sure that you get through your first trimester and then tell everyone you want to share your good news with.

Just my 2 little cents for what they're worth.

My husband was the first to know obviously lol... but I waited until I was 12 weeks and then told my mom & grandma. I then waited until Thanksgiving, I guess I was about 5 months, to tell the rest of my family & friends.

A few of my co-workers knew beforehand, my supervisor included, because I had the same problem with throwing up all the time.
