How long after i introduce ben with a new food can he develop a reaction? Can he have a diaper rash, by pooping, 20 min after eating?

@all: ok, so we are officially trying for another baby.... I am a little scared, but also excited. It's going to be tough to go to school full time, work 12 hour shifts and take care of Ben pregnant but I guess this is the perfect timing. I want to be able to spend as much time with the new baby and not being forced to return to work after a couple of weeks.

That is so exciting! Good luck for a new baby arriving at the perfect time in good health

Hi Mommies!!

We are doing very well, we are going to see Santa tomorrow, Yay for that!!!!. Sofia is doing very good the only thing is that she is very attached to me, she follows me everywhere I go and she lovs daddy but even when she is with him she is looking for me.

Caro@ I love the Adiri bottle, Sofia not so much, well you know, she takes it from time to time if I'm not around.

Chrissy@ Congrats!!!! here my hubby is craving another baby, but I'm not ready yet.

they have the winter dresses for little girls and they look so cute...I think that is the only time I get a little tiny miniscule feeling of wanting another...oh and when I see the photos of Sofia on Vi's sig...hehe...Eman will grab the computer from me when he sees her and say: "So cute!"

Stef. Congrats. Im so happy for you. Im secretly jealous but know now is not the right time for us. I really gotta lose some weight before I try again. I am the same weight I was at 8mos pregnant and its so depressing. I refuse to just gain more weight and not be able to lose that so as soon as I get a tad of motivation my ####### is back on the elliptical and watching what I eat. I also picked up smoking again 6 months ago. Who would think after quitting for over 2 years youd start up again, well, yea, stupid me.

Zaid has been extra goofy the past few weeks. hes really enjoying seeing all the light up santas everywhere. Im excited for xmas. He is gonna be so much fun

My cousin is a little over 2 months pregnant!! Our side of the family is hoping for a girl. So far all of us cousins have been having boys. She is doing the usual puking and unable to keep anything down...she hung out with me yesterday as I did my grocery shopping. As soon as the cashier rang up the popsickles I had bought Eman, she begged me to open them up and proceeded to eat 2 before we even got to the car. That's pretty much all she can keep down. It is hard for me to give her advice as my pregnancy was so different but the stories I read here really help.

@ chnst: Keep us posted... We are planning for next spring and I am already obsessed with it... But I am considering removing a wisdom tooth (my only one!) and would rather have that done before... So let's see...

On mothering they have a subforum for trying to conceive and moms to be post their preggo tests for interpretation.... I soooo remember that stage with Jonathan... I guess this will be new for you since Ben was a surprise

@ Evi: Have fun and enjoy! I hope it snowed and didn't just rain! My parents, sisters, their husbands and babies are all going to Lauscha this weekend. Wouldn't that be an idea for your kiddos too? I bet kids love that place, it's like the North Pole on Christmas Day!!!

Btw I have a Maxi Cosi here in the US and it installs easily. It comes with both latch and belt installtion, my sister has the same seat and she had to buy the latc (isofix) base extra for 60 Euros. Boohoo. When I was there we borrowed our friend's Britax seat (called Roemer there) and it installed super easily. It took less time than my Britax here... Maybe Maxi Cosi just is a stinker to install?

@ Nizzy: Oh poor girl! I never had nausea really. My SIL had it terribly this time around, the entire first trimester. The doc prescribed her Zofran, and she usually hates drugs. There was no other way, she was miserable.

I just checked the sub forum for pregnant mommies but it seems that is just for Phillipine girls, I didn't understand alot of their posts .

They suggested that for me but it never worked. I tried not to take the pill very much but with work sometimes I have to.

Anyway, I'm in my 2nd trimester now and I'm doing a lot better. Still have the icky moment (like today) but most of the day I'm happy! I also saw my baby in the ultrasound last week and he/she was very active in there! I cant wait for the next ultrasound in January so I can see what it'll be, a girl or a boy!

@Vi: I saw sofias santa pic on FB and she is adorable.

@Anna: Whenever we go back to Germany next time I'll have my Britax or just get another graco. This seat here is just a pain in the rear and also what bugs me here is that it's so common to be driving with your child in the passenger seat...argh..it makes me cringe.

@Chnst: Good luck and have fun baby dancing. I want another baby too but only for the pregnancy part haha. My kids are driving me bonkers already and I have my hands full with them, especially Allie.

@Nessa: Ben might be teething too. Allie had a rash within only a few minutes once when she was teething. I first thought it was the diapers but it turned out to be another tooth. I guess their poop is just a little too harsh on their skin then.

@ Nessa - Every time Declan teeths, he gets diaper rash.

So, we were going to get our Xmas tree this past weekend. There is a local place where, if you go on Sundays and buy a tree, get a horse and carriage ride. There is also a dogsled exhibit. So, I know Declan will love it, and I've been holding out to go there instead of just getting a tree from WalMart. But this Sunday, he had a fever of 102 So I guess we either wait until next Sunday to have the fun experience or just pick up a tree during the week.

Next weekend is my birthday .. the 19th. I'm turning 35. For some reason, this birthday is hitting me hard. I think maybe because I really want another child and am feeling more pressure to have one sooner rather than later. Agh! Did anyone else have a problem with turning 35?

About two days ago we were having such a fun time with Sebas and I told Justin that yes, in a few years I would like another one But we'll see...I'm talking like 4 years down the road

Speaking of teething...Sebas has been drooling a lot lately. I checked inside his mouth but I don't see anything. I wonder if his first tooth is around the corner for us

I was at the grocery store the other day and I found myself looking at the formula aisle and dreaming of feeding freedom...am I a terrible mother or what?

Sebas loves to stand with help, just starts smiling and laughing as soon as you prop him up, and he can look around and investigate everything. I think I'm the only one that is hoping he doesn't learn to roll over, because then I have to actually start paying attention to where I put him down
