WHY IS BABY THREAD DYING??? Where is everyone?!?!?!??!?

Same ol' here. Getting excited for christmas. It will be so fun this year now that Zaid is older.

Were suffering from massive cabin fever here lately. Its been on and off snow with wind chills as low as -15. Its the kind of cold u cant catch your breath in which has resulted us not going anywhere beside work and day care for a week now. Very bored and finding it increasingly hard to entertain my lil guy. Cant WAIT for spring :)

Chrissy...have a great trip. I cant wait for the day we say were going to Jordan. It sadly probably wont be for a very very very long time if ever. Lots of family issues that have caused us to not have been there for 4 years. Oh well....

Hope all the babies/toddlers are doing well, staying healthy and warm.

I currently don't have much time for the internet. We don't have a laptop here and Adam always wants to go outside so I'm trying to squeeze in a minute here or there but mostly unsuccessful.

I am so mad about that stupid German carseat..a.rgh..what a piece of #######. How about a LATCH people, the hooks are there why or why does the seat not have the belt for it? It's a maxi cosi and everybody I know is just raving about it..I really don't see it. The Graco I brought was in the car within 30 seconds, the dran Maxi cosi took me around 15 minutes and I still have to tighten it all the time.

Adam puked all over my mom this morning but it doesn't seem to be too serious. He's been fine the rest of the day, had good dinner at my mom's birthday party and didn't complain about any sick feeling no more.

It's supposed to snow here the next few days so I'm excited about that. Allie's cough has gotten a lot better already. I think the cold dry air is finally getting out of her lungs whatever was in there.

That's it from me. Gotta go back upstairs in case the kidsos wake up.

Hi everyone,

Not much to report here. Sebas has been making slow but steady progress with the bottle. He now takes 2.5 oz, a little more fuzzing with the evening bottle but with the morning bottle there's barely no fuzzing. I tried the Adiri bottle but he he didn't like it, looks like the drop ins with the orthodontic latex nipples is the way to go.

He is craving more physical stimulation, but I'm not very inventive on how I can help him. He hates tummy time but loves standing with help. He waves his arms and legs while laying down, but he's not rolling over yet. He smiles a lot :)

Kelly,

I know what you mean. I went into the twins room to get the trash this morning and I looked in their cribs and just about cried. They are sooooooooo big now! We were in Toys R Us this afternoon and asked how old the little girl was in the carriage. She was 10 months (one month younger than Hana and Zak) and about half their size. There are just sooooooooo tall anyone out has a hard time believing they are not 18 months old!

wow Kelly Zaid is sooo cute!

@Evi: yeah I remember how frustrated I was in Germany with the carseats!! I bought a Maxi Cosi and could not get it installed rear facing. I ended up installing it forward facing with the seat belt and it was very tight. I just don't think german carseats are made for rear facing use or I just don't get it.

And I just don't know how I could live without an SUV anymore. I had a volvo in Germany which isn't a small car but I kept banging my head and everything seemed so crammed up in that car. I don't know how my sister did it with 2 toddlers in carseats in her little 2-door Golf 10 years ago...

@all: ok, so we are officially trying for another baby....:) I am a little scared, but also excited. It's going to be tough to go to school full time, work 12 hour shifts and take care of Ben pregnant but I guess this is the perfect timing. I want to be able to spend as much time with the new baby and not being forced to return to work after a couple of weeks.
