Hi ladies,

From my calculation I'm 12 weeks today WHOOOO!!! I feel great today (unless I got too hungry) and I hope to continue feeling this way from now!

Anyway, I'm starting to show, it's weird coz it feels like i'm just fat but I weight 5 lbs less than before I got pregnant so the belly sure isnt normal ;)

So anybody had back problem when pregnant? I need some lower back exercise so when my belly got bigger I wont have any problem.. any suggestion?

Thanks!

Anya

If you're prone to back problems - lower back at that, you'll want to get yourself a good belly brace. It will help to keep you supported. I actually wore a great girdle that came up to my lower chest. It kept me pulled in and felt like it held the belly in place. It was wonderful. I loved wearing it especially during my 3 mile walks in the evening. :star:

That's something to look into! Do you have the name of the brand you use?

Thanks

We had a breakthrough on the bottle issue!!!!

A friend suggested I dip the nipple in something sweet, like jam. I dipped it in apple sauce, and it worked! we drank one ounce, so there's still work ahead, but definitely an improvement!

Hey guys I know I haven't posted here in a bit, but we have our appointment today and sono to find out the sex of the baby :star:

I'm pretty psyched.

yay!! so, is it a boy or girl? :)

Saludos,

Caro

It was from Lane Bryant, but I would suggest checking out maybe Victoria's Secret because they sell the body shapers.

I just read this on a mom forum and thought it was hilarious

"There is probably a special circle of hell for people who would make a serious fuss about a baby nursing in public and that circle is filled with screaming, hungry babies."

At Thanksgiving dinner I was holding Adam at the table and he was getting a little fussy and I mentioned that I was going to have to feed him. One of my relatives got this panicked look and said, "You're not gonna feed him here, are you? I think he could take a bottle." I told him not to worry that I was planning on taking him into a bedroom to feed him. Yeah, like I was gonna whip out my ####### at the Thanksgiving dinner table.

@ Caro: That is really funny, and prolly true, hehehehe. I don't mind women nursing in public or at the dinner table. I personally reatreat to a couch or something in the room, but would never judge others. Those babies need to eat! It's not like anyone complains about a bottle being whipped out. Boobs are for babies. Period. :P

I bought Jona a Doodle Pro today and he likes it. He loves to scrabble something and erase it over and over, yeah!

I'm really excited about some new fabric I purchased to make pocket diapers and diaper covers for my SIL. The cutest fabrics are available out there, so much cuter than a plain ole' white diaper. :D

Yep, Sweet home Chicago! I live about 20 mins south of Downtown. Small area called Midlothian. Virginia has to be a big change from Chitown huh?

okay, you don't have to rub it in! : P Yeah after all these years I still am not used to this place. I tell my husband I hate it about 2-3 times per week. If I win the lottery, I would not hesitate to move back...but until than..I'm stuck here...in the land of the unfriendly...lol...

what? I would kill to move down south and not having to deal with 7 months of winter in NY.

lol that is too cute! speaking about his pre-school pics, can you please post them again? the ones were he is wearing Lederhosen please? I thought those were hilarious.

we are planning on taking Ben for Santa pictures tomorrow, I hope he doesn't get freaked out, because he is going to a total seperation anxiety phase and doesn't even accept Daddy to console him

for christmas we got him a carpenters tool bench, some arts&crafts, a v-tech computer, mr. potato head, tons and tons of Thomas the train things (more for my husbands pleasure I guess) and I'm sure hubby has hidden some more thing for Ben to surprise me. lol.

@Anna: whats a doodle pro? I hope it doesn't come from china and was completely lead screened?:lol:
