@ Vi: Go Sofia! :D Jona was in size 5 at 9 months. I don't even know what he would fit in now.

@ Karima: We had the same issues and switched to cloth and that works, leak and poop explosion proof! Yeah! We tried all store brands, Huggies night diapers and Pampers. But that stuff just doesn't give you a good snug fit around the back and legs and hence the leaks. Cloth diapers mold better to your child. Even my sister who said I'd never use cloth changed recently because all brand diapers would just permanently leak on my nephew. The extra laundry isn't that bad if you have washer and dryer at home.

Btw, my nephew, he totally "beat" Jona: he weighs over 15 pounds at 8 weeks!

Thanks for bringing up the diaper leaks issue!! Sebas is doing well with pee leaks using size 3 pampers baby dry, but poo leaks are still a problem - leaks up the waist. I tried the swaddlers (terrible with leaks!) and the huggies' snugglers that have the leak protection waist band...still leaks  I don't want to cloth diaper...any other suggestions?

My chubby papuchis was 14.02lbs at 8 weeks

ooh how cute, love all the new pictures! Ben is still in size 4 diapers. We use the Pampers cruisers or Huggies little movers, they are flexible and never had a leak. I don't think I ever had problems with leaky diapers. I guess it depends on the size and shape of each baby.

We had our 18 month visit today, he weighs 28lbs 3oz and 34.5 inches long! They ran out of the flu shots, so he only got a hepatitis vaccine. This is really annoying me. Why don't they have enough?? Our pedi said that the swine flu is more rampant than the seasonal flu, so it would still make sense to get the shot in a few weeks.

We adddressed the sleeping issue again and he suggested to try a "big boy bed" in our bedroom and to see how it goes. I am not 100% convinced that this will help him stay asleep but I will try.

Kelly have you put Zaid in a toddler bed yet? If yes, does it work well? I am afraid that he is going to get out et every chance and run around and play in the middle of the night.

We never had leaky diapers until just recently with Adam. He wakes up and our bed has a big pee stain, so annoying. I wake him up whenever we go to bed and make him go pee and that seems to work. This morning his diaper was completely dry. Adam is in size six diapers, Allie is in size 5 or 6 or even sometimes pullups size 3T-4T from Adam. Whatever I can find gg.

I never got the hang of nighttime cloth diapering, it just leaked and leaked all over the place and I just can't imagine my kids sleeping in a wet sobbing cloth diaper for so long. If I had good AIOs I'd probably give it another try but I'm too cheap to spend more money on clothies now that we're done with babies.

Allie had her 15mo checkup yesterday. She's 26lbs4oz and 31 1/2 inches tall. She's doing fine, her cough is getting better but still there. She got a couple of shots and didn't like that. She didn't like the pedi either. She kept waiving bye bye and just wanted to get the heck out there. No fever or anything though after the shots.

Stef, how funny because Declan had his 18 month checkup today too. He is 35 inches tall and just about 26 pounds. Still a skinny boy, but he is actually now in the 47th % for weight where he used to be in the 20th! He got 3 shots, Hep A, DTaP and regular flu. I debated this many many times, but I finally decided to take him for the H1N1 shot and he got it earlier in the week at the clinic at the hospital.

About the bed, I would say give it a try. Putting Declan in a bed rather than his crib has made such a difference! He usually sleeps through the night right now. Even when he has woken up, he does not get out of bed and plays, but rather stays in bed and cries for us.

Interesting to hear about the nighttime diapers. We haven't tried them yet, but there have been some leaks recently and I want to pick up a pack next time I am at the store. We are still using size 4 for Declan as long as we can (because there are more in the package and it just annoys me that the bigger the size, the less you get).

Love all the pics BTW!
