My poor cat has been traumatized by me having a baby! I have had my cat Maury since I was in college in 1995. He's traveled with me all over the country as I have moved a bit. He used to sleep in the same bed as me. Then, I got married and he had to share with my hubby. Now the poor cat has a kiddo who adores him always chasing him and "doing nice" to him, which means hugging him. Declan is actually pretty gentle with the cat, but poor Maury tolerates it and escapes as soon as he can.

question: for my co-worker, i already gave her my pregnancy clothes and the baby sling. On her baby shower, if i give her a box with some stuff i didn't use, but some are open already, like breastpads, the box is almost full, 2 lanolin, 1 open 1 new, 1 J&J baby powder, opened, i used a couple times only, a nursing cover i never used, a head support pillow he used a couple times only, a couple of diapers he outgrew, would that be bad? would it be enough?

OK - don't give it to her as a gift...give it to her separate like, "Here are some gently used items that you might be interested in." :star:

Yes, buy her a gift - give her a package of diapers and wipes. She'll be totally grateful!

alright. just asking cuz in brazil we'd be getting used stuff from everybody, it's normal. here i don't know, because i only had 4 people (including the hostess) on my baby shower, i can't judge from that, u know?

and since this is my boss throwing the shower for them, i don't want to look like i'm cheap or inconsiderate around the people i work with, you know?

Is she a coworker? If she is, just take it to her one morning, not at the shower.

Staashi, Good advice, don't give those things as gifts during the baby shower, diapers are fine and definitely a bigger size, we got like three boxes of NB, without a gift receipt.

Sofia is using size 5, and what a challenge to change her diaper. She is standing on her own, :crying: she is growins way to fast!

Wow Ayman is the same as Zaid and he's still in size 4!

Have any of you tried the new Fisher Price Day and Night diapers? We've been having some issues with Ayman wetting the bed. We'd tried every brand of diaper and nothing worked until I decided to try these. They work great, I love them!

Carrie. There have been MANY nights Zaid woke up covered in pee. So we tried the overnights and NO MORE !!!! Yay!!!! They are fantastic.

The reason we put Zaid in 5's was the 4's were too short . Around his waist they were getting snug, but still fit. Zaid has a buddha belly though :)
