Thank you ladies :)

I feel much better today, thought I still think I made this pregnancy up and when I wake up it's just a dream.. I really hope to start showing soon so I dont think that I'm delusional!

Well, if you already had a positive pregnancy test, then you're 99.9% pregnant. It is rare to have a false positive - false negative yes, false positive no.

well that's the thing.. I had 6 positives home pregnancy tests and one positive blood test and I'm still thinking that my brain is playing a joke on me.. eventhough we were trying for the baby.. it's just still doesnt feel real :) I know it's real thought.. most of the time anyway. And now i'm at 8 weeks.

@Nessa - I problably will do that after my first u/s..just to make sure I got the date right :)

Girl, you're knocked up, preggers, got a bun in the oven, with child, etc. However you define it, you can't deny it...just go along for the ride. Oh and don't worry, very soon the time will come where you'll look down and you won't see your feet - you'll be begging for the day for the bump aka tenant aka baby to vacate ya. hehe

Nessa, Ben will love the ride on. It plays such cute sounds and has a lil 4 key piano thingy and a horn. Its good for him to learn how to walk as well.

Zaid was up all night last night with gas pains. He ate a bunch of cheese that day. Guess cheese is a no no for a while.

The past week or two Zaids vocab has really expanded. He is now putting 2-3 words together. Its cute. His favorite is still "its mine" but he is chatting away. I miss my baby :(

Allie got a little ride on pony for her birthday. She loves it, she doesn't play with it but she always stands on it  .

@Anya: You are pregnant...you are not making this up. Six tests and a blood test don't lie. Your belly is small now but soon enough you will be undenieably visibly preggo just be patient and in 30 weeks from now, you're wishing it was finally over

about the ultrasounds- I had about 5 or 6 and I loved them! the first one was around 6 weeks at the first visit and we saw the heartbeat. The next u/s was around 12 weeks and it was amazing how much he had changed. Then I had one at 19 weeks at a hospital because I was in a car accident. Then 22 weeks the gender u/s, and then a few more towards the end. I loved every single one. Ultrasound can't harm the baby, and it is a pretty easy way to find out if everything is ok with the fetus/amniotioc fluid levels/placenta/gestational age.

Hey guys :) My boys are 4 years old so they're not exactly babies (well, they're MY babies)... but I'm preggo and due in April. Can I join your babies thread? :star:

I had a LOT of sonos with my twins, 2 a week to be exact, but they were looking at my cervix, not the babies. It was still cute to catch a glimpse of them... the sono tech always took a look at them for me.

With this pregnancy I had a sono to find out how far along I was (I didn't keep track)

I had the test at 12 weeks with the ultrasound to screen for down syndrome, etc.

I had two because of a subchorionic bleed I had to make sure it cleared up.

Now I'm just waiting for the one at 20 weeks. :)

Yeah...I had a BUNCH of u/s with my twins as well. In the beginning, they were worried about my cervix because of a previous medical procedure. Then it was because I was diagnosed with pre-E and they wanted to check the health and development of the babies once a week. I know with my friends who have recently had babies, 4 u/s seems to be the norm for our local practices (a dating u/s in the beginning, the nuchal fold u/s, the "big" u/s, and then one towards the end to see the baby's position and size before delivery).

BTW...congrats and welcome Susita! :star:

2 baby showers at the same day, 3 babies, they're asking for diapers, wipes, etc, if i buy 1 big box of diapers for the one having 1 baby (co-worker) and another big box for the one having twins (the wife of a co-worker) and give that as a gift, will that be enough?

I would have killed for a box of diapers as a gift. Instead everyone bought me endless newborn and 0-3 months clothes, which honestly I didn't need.

I gave a friend of mine one of those super sized boxes of diapers from Costco & a nice little basket with all the Johnson & Johnson stuff in it.
