Last night was one of the nights I hope I never go thru again, he was crying so hard for hours and pushing so hard I had absolutely no idea what to do for him!!! Mythicone never worked and we tried to massage doesnt always work and its weird becoz its not constipation then why is he pushing so hard!!! I dont know Im just upset and I needed to let it out....I hope he never has this much pain ever again :(

@HLM: look up "grunting baby syndrome". That's what my two were doing for three months, every night, same time. I couldn't even sleep some nights because I knew it was coming and I was just waiting for the grunting and straining to start. They have to learn how to poop. don't help with a q-tip or any other stimulation because he might learn to rely on that to poop. If it was REALLY bad, I might have done it but they got it figured out after the first 12 weeks.

Aawww, poor little man. Hope he feels better soon. How did they find out it was H1N1, I thought they don't test anymore?
