Evelyn@ Yay! Congrat!!! when is you DD??

Carol Anne@During my 4th month I got very very sick, I took Tylenol and the Dr gave me some antibiotics (can't remember the name)

Nessa@ Congrats!!!

I'm a little nervous now, today we got an email from the president of my company, they 'll cut my salary another 10% (hours) and they are firing people tomorrow, they let us know today to be prepared tomorrow. When I told Sil he took it very well, I think he really wants me to be a stay home mommy.

Have a good night girls...

Vi

This economy is so scary, I wonder what it'll take to end this downspiral :help:

Girls!!

Thank you for all your messages, I survived today. They fired 136 people at my company, some of them good friends of mine, some of them just bought houses, it's crazy!! even my manager and coordinator got fired. Somebody told me that because I'm pregnant they can't fire me, but they did fire a pregnant girl from another area. so is possible. Sil is being very supportive, he says that if they cut my hours that 'll be a blessing so I can spend more time with Sofia, my mom thinks the same.

I'm taking 4 months of maternity leave, I want to see how are we going to do living just with Sil's salary, yesterday we took a sit and start going through our numbers and we actually can do well, it's just me, I don't want to be asking for money from him, I feel really good gatting my own paycheck and some kind of independence. Let's see what happens.

We just came back from Old Navy, they have a super sale in baby clothes, we got so many cute clothes for little Sofia and the we went to Babies R US to get the invitations for the baby shower and JUST look around, we ended buying the wall decoration for Sofi' space, some sheets, and wall paper strips, we have the whole collection now!!! oh, and I got this beautiful shoes on sale from $10 to $2, I had to get them!!!! Sil says that he never sees me so excited buying clothes, not even for me.

Chicas I gotta go, thank you again for your messages

take care

Have any of you been sicker than usual since becoming pregnant? I've always had a strong immune system, and I would catch a cold maybe once every year or two. Now it looks like I'm dealing with the third chest cold since December, and today I'm really achy. These colds also wipe out my appetite, which isn't necessarily bad in my case. I wonder if my immune system's resources are all going to the baby. More than happy to share with the little one, but I'd like to keep just a little for myself.

Carol Anne, I had a terrible cold in November...the dr said the only thing I could take was Vitamin C and Tylenol. Since that time, I take as part of my regimen 3000 mg of Vitamin C every night. So far, I have been cold and flu free since.:dance::dance::thumbs:

Oh, that's great! Part of the problem may be sleep deprivation. I've been getting my Vitamin C from the prenatals and adding more fruits and veggies, but I'll get a supplement tomorrow. I'm taking the day off to sleep since the week's heavy workload is done.

Can't catch up with everyone before bed tonight, but Vi, I'm glad things went okay for you at work.

Night night.

Hi all...

Just popping in. Kavi has a little cough and I am praying he gets all better soon because we are leaving for India this THURSDAY! (Feb 26th). Yes, the trip is coming and that means me and Kavi get to finally meet Sujeet's family!!! Very exciting times.

I won't even go into all the stressful thoughts I have been having about having Kavi in our laps on a plane ride all the way to India!! We'll go from Tampa to Newark, about 2.5 hours...then from Newark straight to India, about 14 hours!!!! On the way home the same ride from India to Newark is estimated at 16 hours!!! LOL. I guess it has to do with head/tail winds and the plane. This is going to be an adventure for sure, hehe.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)
