9 months for potty training??? Good luck with that. If you really stick with it you might succeed. I think 9 months olds are waaay too young for potty training and have no control over their bladder or all the other muscles you that you need to pee or poop yet.

i wish it's asap, diapers cost a fortune :P

You might want to look into EC (elimination communication) . Even as a SAHM I figured it would be too much of a hassle.

I'm so sorry to hear that Tracy. I can only imagine the pain of losing a child. I have a friend here. She had three miscarriages at around 9 weeks. She became pregnant again about three months ago. She told me and we were so happy and she told me that she had miscarried before but that this time it is different. She felt nauseous, gained weight etc. I saw her at a German-People Meeting a couple of weeks back. She was there with her DH and she held her belly a lot and told me all excited that she was almost 10 weeks along and baby was doing great, no cramping, bleeding etc.

Then about a week later she had an US done and her baby's heart had stopped beating at around 8 1/2 weeks. When she told me she was almost 10 weeks along, her baby had been dead for a week. I just bawled when she told me about it. I feel so sorry and what's even worse is that she doesn't have the money for a D&C here in the US so she went back to Germany to have it done (it's covered there). She is now almost 13 weeks and hasn't miscarried naturally. she went to Germany on Thursday to have the D&C done. It is devastating and I feel so bad about complaining that Adam is whining, Allie is crying etc. and she just wants a baby and keeps losing her kids. It's just not fair. :crying:

It's a deeply devastating thing to happen to anyone. I can't/won't imagine it. Too painful.

I love reading everyone's stories here, though. It's great to see so many doing so well.

ONE DAY AT A TIME....

Have any of you been sicker than usual since becoming pregnant? I've always had a strong immune system, and I would catch a cold maybe once every year or two. Now it looks like I'm dealing with the third chest cold since December, and today I'm really achy. These colds also wipe out my appetite, which isn't necessarily bad in my case. I wonder if my immune system's resources are all going to the baby. More than happy to share with the little one, but I'd like to keep just a little for myself.

Carol Anne, I had a terrible cold in November...the dr said the only thing I could take was Vitamin C and Tylenol. Since that time, I take as part of my regimen 3000 mg of Vitamin C every night. So far, I have been cold and flu free since.:dance::dance::thumbs:

Evelyn@ Yay! Congrat!!! when is you DD??

Carol Anne@During my 4th month I got very very sick, I took Tylenol and the Dr gave me some antibiotics (can't remember the name)

Nessa@ Congrats!!!

I'm a little nervous now, today we got an email from the president of my company, they 'll cut my salary another 10% (hours) and they are firing people tomorrow, they let us know today to be prepared tomorrow. When I told Sil he took it very well, I think he really wants me to be a stay home mommy.

Have a good night girls...
