Meetups are not happening where I live, Vi take the opportunities you have in NY! There is so much going on!!!! Finally a like-minded momma moved to my town, thank God! We can scoop out the hospitals and midwives together as she'll have her second in May and we are planning on a second baby next year-ish. :) It's so nice to have someone to talk to.

I love the Denver area, it's awesome, and there is a good chance that if we choose to stay in the Air Force that Hubster gets is space assignment and we can go to Colorado Springs or Denver (buckley). That would be my dream!!! If we don't get CO or CA, we'll call it quits. We really don't want to go anywhere else. Anyways, most bases in his field are in our favored areas anyways...

I have to buy boots for Jona now... We have snow! I rushed to Target to get a snow bib yesterday, but I couldn't find boots anywhere. We don't have Strite Ride in town :( Gotta order them online - or do you guys know other stores that have good quality toddler shoes?

Yo yo yo! Just dropping in to day hi! Almost 27 weeks pregnant and doing nicely - nice, active, bouncy babe in there :)

Josie's birthday/remembrance day is tomorrow - she would have been 1. We're going to get up with a hot drink and watch the dawn, because that's just about when her soul left last year. If any of you would like to join us, wherever you live, please, feel free to!

Jayjay, good to hear from you again. Glad to see your baby girl is happy and active in there. I'm so sorry for Josies loss. I'm still thinking about you every now and then. What a heartbreaking story. All the best.

@Anna: Yay for snow  . Temps here finally dropped into the 60s today. It feels so nice outside. We have all the windows open... I hope it's going to stay like that for a while.

Here's a rant about the darn military again. There's a girl I'm in touch with..she's literally hours from giving birth to a baby. She's laboring around, nothing serious yet but definite contracitons. Anyway...her husband just got the FLU MIST yesterday. He didn't know it was contagious, they didn't tell him not to get it when there's a baby around. It sucks so bad. She's crushed but what can yuo do after he gets the shot. All she could do is make him move out for a few weeks which I'm sure she doesn't want.

yay for zak crawling. ben is moving sideways. if i put a toy on his side he moves his body, like a clock, but he doesn't go forward just yet.

Ben is finally adjusting to the nursery school, which may in part be due to a certain "girlfriend", he likes. Her name is Ellie and I even approve of her, lol. She is the cutest little girl. They hug each other "bye bye" every day, and he couldn't stop saying her name on the way home today, haha.

that's so cute.

@jay jay: yay for active baby. i used to love the feeling.

@autumn: congrats on Declan, time really flies

JJ - you are often on my mind. I can't believe that you're 27 weeks now. I will be praying that all goes completely uneventful with this pregnancy and birth.

I will also be thinking of little Josie tomorrow morning - where has the year gone. God bless you all. :star:

@jamie: congrats

@caro: 24/7 attached to your boobs?

lol, yep those are the signs and symptoms.... I remember those days...

wow I can't believe how big your babies are getting!!

@Kelly: wow, snow already?? It is getting chilly here, but a sweater is enough so far.... We went pumpkin picking today and it was pretty chilly until the sun came out. I love the fall here, it is my favorite season, I wish it could last 6months...

I'll try JCPenney as soon as the roads are better. We had some sort of blizzard, it's as low as 10 degrees Fahrenheit and over a foot of snow. It took us by surprise... We don't even have a snow shovel and Walmart and Lowe's are out of them!!! We have a garage so the cars are fine, but we had to borrow the shovel from the neighbor's to make our driveway passable. ;) I've got to get boots for Jona now, his sneakers won't help in the snow! The cat is afraid of the snow, too funny. It's her first time of snow.

Apparently Cheyenne very little snow plows so the only roads that were shoveled were the interstates!!! I was in shock! People around here have their own plow-attachments for their pick-ups... PRetty crazy!

Later today I'll try the sleigh with Jona and see what happens... My guess: He'll hate it. I don't know why they say terrible-twos, I think it's terrible-ones. He currently hates everything: diaper change, clothes changes, eating, drinking, being carried, being bathed, taking a nap - he just sceams and screams and screams. I know his teeth are hurting bad (all 4 canines are pushing slowly, slowly through the gums) and it makes him mad, but he also hates not being in control of a situation. I feel so bad for him and also bad as mommy as I don't know a remedy. Nothing soothes him... I just hope those teeth are out soon and that a little more verbal understanding develops so he understands the situations better.
