Our pediatrician said 6 months for yogurt as well. We started out with YoBaby but it gets expensive when your twins eat it every day. We now just buy a big thing of Stonybrook Farm yogurt. Daddy and the babies share it. :)

So...I took the day off today because my allergies gave me the headache from hell that took more than 36 hours to vanish. Well...I guess it was good I had the day off. The babies were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fussy. I would have felt bad for their babysitter if she had to deal with them. They cried all afternoon, were stealing each other's toys, were purposefully going to each other and tormenting them by kicking them with their feet or just touching them, and they are teething. My headache pain was mild to this today.

I just checked at Yoplait online and their yoghurt really is made with sugar. I'm amazed. I guess i gave up looking for a good yoghurt since everything is made with HFCS anyways. Thank you staashi for letting us know.

@ Evi: Do you have Safeway there? The Safeway O-Organics brand is cheap, and they have a vanilla yoghurt, low fat and it is super sweet. I couldn't eat it. Hubbie had to eat it up. Just cause you like sweet... It's one of those big containers for around $2.49 on sale :)

Nessa@ Last time I went to Target they had some pretty decent winter jackets for less than $30,you should take a look. About the blanket, Sofia sleeps with one since day one.

About Halloween we are debating about the costume, I don't know, i don't feel like spending $25 for just one day unleast is a costume that she can use a as a Pj.

Thank you mommies for your advice about the yogurt, I guess YOBABY is the brand to go for.

This is going to sound to funny but seriously I don't now what is going on with my little one, my hubby wants me to post this, she is out of control, she is super hyper, super active, non stop, I cannot even change a diaper, I need my hubby's help and when I'm by myself I get super frustrated 'cause Sofia doesn't want to stay quiet. She is into "singing"-"screaming". Silvio thinks that is beacuse I'm eating alot of chocolate but no way! (or maybe yes?). We both are super confused, Sofia is always climbing, crawling, singing, pinching, Wow! I'll be posting a video soon so you will understand what I'm talking about, mommies, is this stage normal??? is it going to get worst?

She is sleeping right now, time to relax with the hubby that is watching football non stop  .

Nite, nite!

Vi: I'd like to see a video. I think it is only normal. Allie is running all day. They can finally move, the world is sooo big, there's so much to see, touch, feel, hear etc. Their own voice is awesome to themselves as they learn to get to know themselves. I mean, up until now she didn't know she's more than a head and suddenly all those other body parts pop up. She might also go through a stage of just plain screaming...just like that, no reason at all, she just wants to hear her voice. She hits to see what you do, she keeps dropping stuff out of her highchair to see what happens..she does it agian to see if you'll do the same thing again...and then again, to see what mommy does now. I don't think you have anything to worry about. they are little energizer bunnies, some more, some less. You might be in for a very exhausting toddlerhood :star: .

As for halloween costumes. See if there's a 'once upon a child' store around. They have second hand baby clothing and I'm sure they have costumes. Also craigslist might be an idea. I just got Allie an oshkosh snowsuit for 5 Bucks from there.

I found Rayan two long-sleeved, long-pants Disney outfits on clearance for $5 each at Walmart, and a fleece set with a hoodie for $7 (it was marked $5 also, but I didn't have time to wait for them to go back and verify). I'm going to make him a cap and booties out of variegated yarn to match the fleece. I don't think he'll need anything much warmer because of the climate here and because he's still so young that we can still bundle him in a blanket if we take him out in the cold. He has a sleep sack, but he's been sleeping with a blanket tucked at the bottom of his bed at chest level if he isn't sleeping in his swing or bouncy chair.

Rayan is eight weeks old now, and the time is going so quickly. He is laughing a lot now, though silently. Sometimes he smiles huge in his sleep, and his little diaphragm just dances, but he makes no sound. Sometimes I'll look down to find him just beaming up at me. I live for those moments. He kicks pretty hard, especially when his feet are against his dad's stomach. He doesn't like to be on his tummy, possibly because he's so round -- he squirms and grunts and acts frustrated. But he likes to lie on our chests, and he holds his head up better every day. We got through my first day back at work today, part-time, with no trouble, and I left enough milk -- he drank 8 ounces between 8 am and 2:30 pm and slept much of the time. I can pump 10 or 12 ounces most days, so I should be able to keep freezing some as well.

Vi, I would also love to see a video of your active little Sofia :luv:

Vi, Sounds like your baby is just going thru the normal developmental stages. There were times when Zaid was little that I would have to pin him down just to get a diaper off and on. Youll get use to it and it will help prepare you for what lies ahead (crusing, walking, running, hitting, talking back, tantrums, you get the point, lol)

Hi everyone.

Glad your first day away went well, caybee! I don't remember if I asked you already - what kind of pump do you have?

I'm "hanging in there" (my stock response when people ask me how I am). I have constant cramping, which I'm hoping means somethings going to happen soon (as opposed to having constant cramping for the next 2+ weeks). Today is my last day of work, which I am very happy about. Not that I've been very productive the last couple of weeks. I have my farewell lunch at P.F. Chang's - looking forward to that!

Hey mommies!

Baby update: Sebas is starting to experiment with cooing sounds, and is becoming more interested in his surroundings. His umbilical cord and scab fell, and he now has a belly button! soon he'll have his first bath and we'll start working into a night time routine. He hates tummy time! unless he's laying on my belly - then we can get a few minutes of him lifting his head and pushing with his legs

Saludos,

Caro

@Vi, Sofia sounds just like Enzo - he's crawling, rolling, won't stay still for his diaper. I actually try to keep something close by (paci, toy, today I even gave him an aspirator ) so that when I need to change him he'll be interested in that for about 30 seconds or so. He is singing, talking, babbling, whatever you want to call it - does it nonstop. No real screaming - he even did it this morning at 5:45 am and then fell back asleep until 7am. Who knows?

Enzo had his check up today - he now weighs 17lbs 13ozs and is 27.5 inches long. The dr said he looks super and his little hernia is almost all healed - Thank God!!!

@ Jenn - Good luck, hon - enjoy P.F. Changs...I (L) it there!

@vi: i eat chocolate everyday, i got used to when i was pregnant and couldn't change my habits, but anyway, i doubt a few chocolate a day would pass sugar through the milk to a point where she's high lol.

does she scream like she's mad or just like she's amazed with her own voice?

@staashi, wow he's so big. how old is he again?
