My twins are talkers. As a result, they have been slow to actually crawl. Zak knows how to roll around quickly and Hana scoots everywhere on ther back. But, Zak is the only one to get close to normal crawling by getting up on his knees and rocking back and forth. Once he figures it out, Hana will be soon to follow and then the true fun for us begins!

wow your babies are crawling already?? Ben didn't crawl until he was 10.5 months old... And he just started walking 2 months ago... But he is more of a talker and singer, lol- he loves the ABC song (he can fill in the blanks), and sings the oompah loompah song from Charlie and the Choc. factory. so funny. I got to get a video of that.

He started to play hide and seek, it scares me because he will hide somewhere and hold his breath and I can't find him! He does not say a peep for 10 minutes!

My niece crawled at 6 months and walked at 9... Jona didn't crawl til 9 months and started to walk at 12 months. We all think though it's because he's so chubby.... He tried so hard to crawl and always collapsed under his weight :D Not much talking yet, but he understands us well now. You can tell him no, don't walk down the stairs, crawl and then he turns around and crawls. He's a little ambitious there and tries walking like adults ;) Of course all of this happens supervised!!! Teaching him to use the stairs safely is big on our agenda...

This morning I noticed three canines, three of them now. Ugh. I hope they make it all the way out soon, he's quite unhappy.

@ chnst: That's cute... Jona loves peekaboo and hides behind curtains and under blankets, but hide and seek is still a little away from us. He freaks out if he cannot see me!!!!

Zaid crawled at 9 and walked at 11. Now, I wish he would go back to crawling :) lol

He has figured out how to open the "child proof" locks on the cabinet. He seems to be very good with figuring things out. He can stick the key in the front door and unlock it, open the gate, turn on the lamp. He sure is a stinker these days,.

Zaids 103F fever finally broke yesterday and he seems ot be feeling better. 3 more teeth popped thru so i think he has some relief there. Glad he is finally getting better.

haha, I hear you... Ben does not listen to "no", he does acknowledge "stop" on occasion, if he feels like it. We are working on holding my hand in the parking lot and basic safety measures. He is so accident prone, just like his father. He fell flat on his face last week and his lip and chin were bleeding. I almost took him to the ER but he got up, said "ouch" and didn't care about the blood running down his face, just kept going.

Every time we go shopping now we get spongebob bandaids...

ooh poor Zaid, hope he feels better! Ben has the sniffles too, so far no fever. I can't believe how chilly it is already. I'm not ready for the fall/flu season yet!

Kelly Ayman is the same way. He knows how to unlock the gates to the kitchen, undo the cabinet locks, open the sliding glass door, open the front door, unlock the door to the garage, turn on small fans, and now I caught him unplugging and replugging the lamps. He gets up on furniture and stands up, jumps off beds and loves to chase the dog in the kitchen and fall and bust his mouth all up. I'm afraid he's gonna bust his front teeth out one of these days. He is being very defient these days. He also loves to play hide and seek and now he laughs when he gets loose and runs and waits for you to come chase him. He's being a major stinker lately, he drains the life out of me everyday with his stubbornness and temper tantrums.

I hope Zaid feels better soon. I just got over a sinus infection. Ayman had the sniffles, but luckily nothing more.

haha, sounds so much like Ben! Except that he can't reach the doorhandles yet, but he is trying!! I'm always scared that he will get zapped because he is obsessed with outlets- he even figured out how to remove the safety covers. Oh and he jumped off the couch today-face first.

Phew. Im glad that I am not the only one going thru this these days!

Whats everyone kiddos being for halloween? Were going shopping today to get a costume, torn between a monkey or a dinosaur. I really wanted him to be Thomas the Train bc he is OBSESSED with his choo choo's but the costume at his age is not cute enough. I still need a "baby cute" costume. Im not ready for my lil guy to grow up.

I think Im gonna be brave and go back to Carters today. I need to return some slippers that the hubby bought for Zaid and who knows, maybe their sale will be "too good to pass up" thats my excuse to hubby everytime I come home with a bag of clothes lol

My name is Kelly, and Im a SHOPAHOLIC!!!!! LOL

@Kelly aka shopaholic: lol, I just went shopping yesterday. I only meant to go to the optical place to get a new pair of glasses... but I had to walk by Gymboree, Gap, and Children's Place and bought tons of summer clothes for next year. I got flip flops @ the Gap for $3.99, swim shorts for $3.99, t-shirts, shorts.... hubby just shakes his head, haha. But it was too good to pass up. I just have to make sure that every now and then I find something with a motorcycle print, because hubby is a huge Harley Davidson freak. I always get the thumbs up for that, lol.

Ben is going to be a monkey!! I found the cutest costume at Babies R Us but they only had one in 4T- guess what, it fits! He loves Thomas the train and Elmo ("Melmo") but I didn't like the way they looked. It's kind of nice that he doesn't care what he is wearing yet. The Children's Place had really cute costumes too, but his size was all sold out..
