you can open an account at www.photobucket.com and upload your pictures there. When you put the link in it automatically makes the picture smaller. You can also try to shrink the file so you can upload it here on the board.

Girls...

After so many months of happyness I finally got my period this morning, I'm so uhappy about it, well, I have heavy cramps and I'm in a pretty bad mood - hormones, hormones -I usually take Midol, but I'm BF is it ok to take it? should I call my GYN to ask????. And about BF, The last week I did something so stupid, I Bf Sofia just on my right breast because it seems to be her favorite and is usually heavier than the left one, I didn't give her the left one for about three day and the fourth day the left one look and felt completely empty, it was so funny but at the same time discuting, the right one had a watermelon size and the left one look like a fried egg, horrible. I asked my mom and she told me to encourage Sofia to take the left one and estimulate it and is finally working, thankgodness! I was going nuts about it

Nessa..maybe he wiggles around. I second the longer and leaner thing. They slow down gaining weight once they get more mobile. So your now 18lbs baby might still be around 20lbs in four months or half a year. The dipes will most likely start to fit better. Maybe you want to get some Nubunz. Like Anna said, they are a little bit bigger than the BGs.

Hi Everyone (especially to all you vj moms),

Can I join you all here, as I'm a new mom with a newborn son/baby.

Thanks in advance...Look forward to chatting with all of you here too about off-topic mom issues...

Anyways, I posted this on another thread here on vj, and thought I would get more help here, be it that this is more specific baby/child message thread and you all might have some more insight and experience than I have about this topic too:

I have nothing against breastfeeding, and am in fact breasfeeding my own newborn baby son (lol..heck, I'm doing that as I'm typing..hence the typos...), and see many benefits to breastfeeding.

How many of you are breasteeding and/or have breastfed your child? How have your experiences been with such? How have you dealt with breastfeeding in public? How do you feel about others breastfeeding?

On a somewhat related odd note:

Can one breastfeed (discretely, of course) at a USCIS office? Have any of your done this? If faced with such a situation, would you do such?

Seriously...I have to face this issue soon, as I have to be at a USCIS office for my biometrics, interview, and oath ceremony, and have to do such then. I have no choice and have to bring my son with me, and it will be quite a long distance to travel there as well...

What should I do about feeding (and diaper changes) there...?

Do I even mention to the IO about this, and hope that they are understanding about this as well?

:help:...I don't want my baby to starve just because I have to meet with the USCIS!

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated here (or pm me instead) too. Thanks.

Ant

Hi Vi Mazzella,

Try this link here about the midol: http://www.kellymom.com/health/meds/pms-meds.html

Sorry about the bad period...yeah, bummer that it's not good after so long of not having such (how long has it been for you, by the way)....

As for BFing...try switching sides during each feeding, or one feeding after another, even if the baby has a preferance for one side over the other...

Lol...that's what I do...switch back and forth..helps with the leaking too....(tmi..I know...)

Hope this helps as well...

Ant: Congrats on your baby boy and of course you can join here.

I am still breastfeeding and I do nurse in public (NIP). I have never had any bad experience. I think AnnaC here had a little confrontation once in a dr. office but so far whenever I NIP I got thumbs up from people.

As far as nursing at the USCIS office goes. I'm sure you can do that. If you can and if you feel more comfortable just bring something to cover up with or wear a jacket that lets you kinda be covered if you have to pull your shirt up. As far as nursing during a carride goes...maybe you can squeeze in a few stops but sometimes babies just sleep. We went to San Antonio from Houston when Allie was 8 weeks old and she slept 5 hours straight. I didn't have to nurse her once.

Check your state laws and maybe print out the part where it says that women can breastfeed their babies whenever or wherever they are. Sometimes there are family bathrooms but I don't know just how family-friendly a USCIS office is.

Good luck to you..all the best and congrats again.
