Depends on your state, and you can also always file an exemption for vaccines. Depending on your state, you can file for philosophical, religious or medical exemptions.

Still no shots for Allie. She's still fighting a virus and the ped and I agreed to wait another week or two until she's feeling better.

The blood drawing was no big deal...like I said, she didn't even really cry. Nursing would have not worked. I was thinking about it but the chairs were built so weird that there was just no room to nurse. It wasn't necessary after all.

Allie weighed 25lbs 1oz today and was 30.5 inches long (compared to 24.5lbs and 30inches from two weeks ago). She's eitehr growing really fast or her diaper was just full :).

I'm sticking with prefolds..I just love them, they fit Adam and Allie. Adam's completely out of diapers now, except for the night diaper which will be unnecessary in a few weeks as he wakes up at night to go pee.

Thank you. Allie is chunky but I guess in five or six months she'll still be around 25lbs. it's starting to slow down now that she can walk :). I do have to make sure I get every fat roll on her legs. Girls have rolls in different places than boys :).

HLM - do not worry. At one point they said Enzo was underweight - I was kind of freaked out about it. Two weeks later, the dr said - oh, we got a bad measurement. If your little one is on the small side it is ok - they'll handle it how they need to. As long as you're eating right and taking care of yourself he'll be just fine. :star:

HLM nice to hear everything is ok. i wouldn't worry either, the measurement is not precise(sp?)

So I e-mail cottonbabies and guess what's the answer was: call us. #######? why do they announce their contact e-mail just sop a day after they tell us to call.

HLM: U/s measurements aren't precise, and not all women and baby have a standard size! I measured small too, I kept telling the ob at that point that the biggest baby in our family born after 40 weeks was 6 lbs 6 oz, we just don't have big babes. He rolled his eyes and threatened with a csection for small baby (that's a new one, really). We avoided him... Needless to say, Jona was born 3 weeks early and weighed under 6 pounds. The ob chose to not take care of my concerns of preterm labor and even denied me medication to stop preterm labor contractions as he thought it's ok to go into labor after 35 weeks!!!!! My sister got the stuff til 39 weeks and hence made it to 40 weeks, with an exact 3kg baby.

Gg...it's so funny how some women beg for stuff to stop their preterm labor and then there's women that do about EVERYTHING on the list to get their overdue baby out and it won't happen without induction  .

So, Jona weighs 29 lbs 6 oz and is 80cm long (31.5 inches). Wow! The NP was quite impressed with his health and proportion, as it's just fine. Apparently he's like the only kid without sniffles, ear infections and so on he has seen... we did a check of his iron levels and a precautionary lead test, results next week then.
