Ack..same here. Allie poops as soon as I take her diaper off. I usually let her go diaper less for a few minutes and in those minutes you can be sure she poops and then plays in it. Gross.

Caro - Declan was like that too especially when newborn. I swear, I would change him right after he ate, then in the middle of changing, he would poop again!!!

He has horrible diaper rash now and screams whenever I have to change him. It's heartbreaking really. He rarely gets diaper rash and this one is so bad, it looks like he has rug burn on his bum

Justin and I are getting the flu vaccine this year, as per our pedi recommendation but of course Sebas is too young

Karen, have you tried cornstarch? My MIL believed in chamomille tea baths and then apply cornstarch LIBERALLY. It seems to help.

i love carters clothes and HATE gerber onesies...####### material and shrink super easy.

about Bornfree bottles we use them for Molly and i love them, i found with the dropins she got alot of uncomfortable gas, so we switched her at about 2 months...love em.

i had staples with my c-section and to be honest when the doc removed them i didnt feel much, and one staple was stuck in there super good!

We will be getting the flu shot, Sofia is getting the first dosis in October and the second one in December.

Chrissy@ I haven't had my period since July 08, I guess because I'm breasfeeding, and I'm the happiest woman in the world, I hate when I get it, I'm not missing it at all.

Girl, it's not just you - I felt like a T-rex last week when mine was about to start. Fortunately, with the IUD, things are soooooo quick. But last Thursday or Friday was bad!

I hope Declan gets better. what worked for me was to air his butt, bathe him, keep him as dry as possible.

So Ben had a fever and diarrhea. I took him to the doctor and his teeth are coming. She said it might be that. She then asked for blood work. I went to the hospital and at first the did the little needle stick on his foot so the blood would come out, know what i mean, not the regular seringe thing. not enough blood. so she decided to take blood from his arm. OMG, i had such a hard time not crying. she stuck under his skin and couldnt find the vein, so she kept moving the needled under his skin for over a minute. then she gave up and tried on his hand. i couldn't even look anymore

so it turns out Ben has a virus and that's causing his temp to go up and diarrhea. She said i have to be giving him pedialite and it might last 7-10 days.

Ness, I'm so sorry about Ben - when Enzo was 1 month old, I had to take him to have blood drawn to see if his thyroid levels were still off from his birth(because I was hypothyroid). Poor thing, they stabbed his heel and when he wouldn't bleed, they syringed his arm. OMG! I lost it - felt like such a bad mommy because it was my fault or my health's fault that he had to suffer. I hope your little guy gets better soon.

My two will definitely get the regular flu shot. I keep going back and forth about the H1N1 shot for them. I just had an appt with my allergy/asthma doctor today and I am on the list to get both the regular flu shot (he is out) and the H1N1 shot. He told me it really wasn't an option with my allergy / illness induced asthma and with having babies at home. I am having Hicham get the regular flu shot so he hopefully doesn't bring it home to them.
