Nessa, thats exactly what Ive done for Zaid for quite some time now. I ALWAYS buy things a little big. Especially shirts. I even started buying the adjustable waist pants one size up that way i can make the waist tight and if need be cuff the bottom of the pant leg. Jeans that fit zaid 4 months ago are going to last me thru the winter so Im happy about that. Also, with the winter coming I bought tons of the Carters one piece long sleeve outfits. I dont think they are THAT cute however they are practical for him to wear at day care and it allows me to buy them one size up because the way they are made.

p.s. Ben is sooo cute in that picture

I like Target's baby clothes, and a lot of my favorites came from consignment shops. 0-3-month onesies are already too small for him, especially with the cloth diaper, although some other styles still fit. He has some footie sleepers that should fit for a while, but otherwise no cold-weather clothes. I'm afraid to buy too much for him until I have a better idea how big he'll actually be in the winter.

I think Rayan's having a gassy spell, and he's trying to cry, but he refuses to break his latch, so he's squirming around and making "ahm" sounds in between gulps and swallows.

Caro: hang in there! I am jealous, I would have killed to be overdue instead of the preterm labor fiasco!

I buy 24months clothes now and Jona just turned 1. It's incredible. My fave places are Gymboree and Janie and Jack. Carters is ok too, but doesn't stay as soft after a couple washes as Gymboree does.

We went to Target and we found pretty decent prices, nice outfts for baby girls, We went crazy buying for Sofia, specially Silvio, everytime we go out he has to get some new toy for her :bonk: , my apartment is so full of toys and baby stuff looks more like a daycare. Are you girls looking for Halloween costumes???

Caro@ I read somewhere that being "close" to hubby (you know what I mean) helps.

It's hard to find cute boys clothes from the 12 month size up. It took me FOREVER to find Zak an Eid outfit. I LOVE Gymboree's clothes. I go shopping at their outlets and sales and find some cute clothes for fairly cheap (not to mention their clothes are good for the skinnier kids). I also love to go thrift store shopping and consignment store shopping. Where my mom lives is a "Once Upon a Child" store. If you have one near you, GO! They will buy your old baby/children's clothes from you (selected items). I take the money I get and turn around and buy the next sized clothes or baby items. I have gotten used play gyms for cheaper than Craigslist.

BTW...my 8 month old babies are quickly outgrowing 12 month outfits and have been sleeping in 18 month pj's for a month (they are both soooooooooooooooo long...I can't wait for their appointment next month to see just how tall they are). I call Hana spidey girl because she has spidery long legs.
