@Kelly: that's a beautiful picture!! I love it, they are soo cute altogether. Did you take them all by yourself??? Where did you have them done? I love the matching outfits!

@tnh: yeah I remember life got a lot more complicated when Ben started teething/ eating solids.... It is really tough especially with two... hang in there. I try to tell myself that it won't be too long until he is embarassed when I want to hold him/cuddle.

LOVE the new pics, kelly and staashi. SO cute!!

what a bunch of beautiful babies we have here on VJ, ya know?

Amirah surprised me this morning by coming in while I was getting ready for work, she was poking me in the leg and saying "eat! eat" so I was about to go get her some toast when I saw that she had the numeral 8 refrigerator magnet and was trying to give it to me saying 'eight! eight!". wow. so I praised her and she ran out - came back and did it again with the 5 and then again with the 9, saying it correctly each time. She then brought the 3 and called it eight, and the 6 and called it nine, but overall I was pretty much blown away. Maybe she will be a mathematician or an engineer! who knows......

Aaawww, that is cute Sara.

I'm trying to teach Adam numbers and letters..with very little success...argh. I asked him to go get me a green building block and he brought me a purple one....hmmm

The only number he knows is two and he understands that only two is two but he's a hopeless case when it comes to all the other stuff. I cannot get that kid to sit down longer than 2 minutes and concentrate on anything. He's always outside rolling in sand or digging holes...There's no time for numbers or letters or even colors...argh.

Nessa@ that's a pretty good weight, Sofia is 12 pounds and she is 4 months, maybe because she is a gilr? well, the Dr said that she is doig wonderful so nothing to worry about.

Yesterday I got a call from my job asking me if I'm going back to work next week  , I was a little surprised 'cause I'm suppouse to go back in September, well I called back today and they said that was a mistake, that somedy confused the dates. I'm being a chicken, Sil wants me to ask if they can give me part time, mornings or evenings but we don't know if that will be worth it, we have to sit down and lok at the numbers.

Sara@ that is really cool! I'm trying to teach Sofia the colors, numbers and shapes too, I know she is not really learning but I read it somewhere so I'm just trying.

By the way, today is my 5th Anniversary!!!

Eveline - I am not surprised, my boy was the same way. He wanted to be outside and/or making a mess at all times.

I havent been actively even trying to teach Amirah any of this, in all honesty I think its because we read to her a LOT and she loves books - especially the counting books so I think she has just been paying a lot of attention.

Pictures were a disaster, we managed to get one of them all looking at the camera, (the one i posted) no smiles tho. :(

The picture is amazing though without smiles. The kiddos are very cute. What a wonderful gift.

Oh wow....I feel bad now. I hardly ever read to Adam because he just won't sit still. He likes to look at books and knows a lot of animals but colors, shapes or ABCs....he couldn't care less about it. There's only one book we read and it's been the same since april, he doesn't want us to read any other book. It's "Dinosaur's Binkit"....he can't get enough of it.

I guess I'll have to schedule in some 'learning time' every day. I know they learn the stuff whenever they are ready but I'm afraid if i don't sit Adam down and strap him to a chair, he'll never be ready.

Hey all! Enzo is now holding a spoon - we have a silicone one and my MIL taught him how to put it in his hand and he naturally puts it in his mouth. He's using it to gum on while teething. Too cute. :)

Sara - that is so cool about Amirah.

 Karen - I'm sure your response to all of this is - Holy #######!!!!

@Eveline: Don't worry about that, I think speaking 2-word sentences is normal for a 2-year old. Then 3-word sentences at 3 years old. People tend to expect too much of their kids. I think children who have had frequent ear infections take longer to talk. I'm sure he is just fine, just a real "boy".

@autum: haha, Ben tries to say kitty but it sounds a lot like titty or shitty. hahaha.
