ship 'em over to us! haha. that would be fun, too bad you're so far away.

@autum: thanks for all the info. Montreal sounds like a great city. I hadn't even had much time to look into sightseeing and intersting places. Maybe we can stop by the zoo, we are coming from upstate NY.

I love Montreal. Growing up in Vermont, we went up quite often. I remember going to the Granby Zoo when I was maybe 8 years old. Two years ago, I took my grandmother, her sister, and my sister to Notre Dame. It is phenomenal on the inside and a definite must see. In addition, Montreal has a beautiful botanical gardens that is across the street from the Olympic Stadium (it is hard to miss that structure). http://www2.ville.montreal.qc.ca/jardin/en/menu.htm There is also an wonderful amusement park on one of the islands in the river, La Ronde. I guess they are now a Six Flags park as well. http://www.laronde.com/larondeen/ For the gamblers, there is a casino in Montreal as well. That is my family's favorite destination (not mine, I hate losing hard earned money).

AFU: The fevers my babies had from shots on Tuesday finally broke in the middle of the night. So...we went to the zoo and met up with some other twins. It was great and I hope to meet up with them again next Thursday.

@chnst: Ben is adoooorable!! :star:

@Caybee: in a nutshell...yes :P Lots of hands and knees, and squatting for at least half an hour a day

Also, careful with your position, try not to lean back (I know it's hard!!) but sit up straight - try sitting on a pillow on the floor (tailor sitting)

Let me know if you find the article!

Sofia is tething now, it is driving my poor girl crazy, he tries to put both her hands in her mouth, we have that toy to put in the mouth but she hates it.

Yay for Ben!!!!! I love those pics of your big boy

Caro@ How is the belly???

HUGE!!!!!!!

Silly question: Is it possible that he may be running out of room already? he is not kicking as much, but not that his movement has decreased but he moves more than kick.

Saludos,

Caro

@ Stef - Ben is a cutie!!! I forgot to add that :)

@ Eveline - Ooooh I can't wait to hear about Victoria. I have never been there and am dying to go. Hubby's family lives in a small island off Vancouver Island (Victoria is at the bottom of Vancouver Island) and we always talks about going, but visiting his friends in Vancouver and then his family on their island always takes up all the time when we visit.

@ Caro - Definitely, as the baby gets bigger, he runs out of room to kick as much. Post another belly pic!!! :)

@ All the mommies of teething babies : (F)

Declan has a molar coming in. I wish it would just get here already!

But, isn't it a little early? How far along were you when the baby stopped kicking as much?

I'm so big!!! This was yesterday

Caro - You are so cute!!! I forgot to take belly pics throughout the pregnancy. When my water broke and we were running around frantically packing (3 weeks early), I made hubby take the only belly shots we have :)

Now I can't really remember when the kicks stopped and I just felt movement. I thought it was around 32 weeks, but I could be wrong. Sorry I'm not that much help.

@ Vi: I can't believe Sofia is teething already, poor thing! Seems like she just got here!

@ Twila, glad the fevers finally broke and you all were able to enjoy the zoo. That's one of the excursions I'm really looking forward to.

@ Caro: I found it :) Thank you. I crawled around on the floor with the cats for a long time yesterday. They loved it, kept putting their whiskers in my nose. I also did some of that tailor sitting. I'll have time for more of all of that over the weekend. I don't tend to lean back as much as slump forward, but I'll try to sit up straighter. And I love the belly pic! :)

Had his second weekly NST today. At first, he didn't want to cooperate at all -- I wasn't feeling him move very much, though of course I did just before the appointment. The nurse brought me a can of diet Coke to try to get his attention. I drank some and then put the cold can against my belly. He really started trying to push it away  and they got some good readings and got me out of there. So I take back what I said about not being able to actually see him move anymore. He just needs the right motivation. Next week, I'll smuggle in an ice pack and get it done in a hurry ;) The pressure of having him in there makes it difficult to do some things, and I'm bumping into everything these days, but I'm going to miss all that movement. Got material to make a wrap today, though, so if he tolerates being worn, I'll still have him close for a while.

I'm the USC.

Adam started solids at 6 months old...and I had to hold him back with that cause he would have eaten at 4 months. Allie didn't really care about food until 8 months but then she went from nothing to three meals a day within four weeks or so.

Caro: Cute belly! :) I never kick counted til like the last week?

Nessa: We offered at 6 months for the first time. He didn't eat anythin till 2-3 weeks ago. Now he eats a jar of yobaby per day, but is not really convinced. He likes Annie's Bunny crackers though. BAsically, giving solids too early is not good. I would always wait at least until 6 months. And then take it from there... The later they start, the less likely food allergies will appear (baby books, studies say that). I never was concerned about that since there are zero allergies in my and DH's family.

I stuck with the 3day rule with Adam (one veggie three days in a row to see if there's a reaction) but with Allie I just fed her everything we ate and watched her.
