Finally found some jeans that will fit Zaids itty bitty waist yet looong legs...Childrens Place with adjustables. They are TOO adorable on him!!! We spent weeks in jogging pants bc everything was floods or buttcrack :)

That's where my sister has had to buy my niece her clothing as well for that same reason. She is 9 and a skinny rail.

Haha, that is too funny. I bought only sweatpants for Adam because his belly is so fat that the jeans button kept popping open  . I'm buying TARGET pants from 'genuine' because they are adjustable but still I get them in size 3T and they are too long but that's no problem. Right now, he's mostly in 'garanimals' shorts with elastic so I don't have to worry about buttons. He wears Size 2 with those pants and they are too big around but they worked wonderful with cloth diapers under it. He's potty trained now so I just fold the elastic over and they fit ok. I cna get them down fast enough when he needs to pee.

We have tons of jean, plaid, khaki shorts that all fit him great, there was this one pair from Gap that literally slid right off his bottom, but other than that, shorts arent a problem.

They need to make a 15 month pant, lol. I can see how unrealistic it would be bc the kids would be in and out of them in a matter of weeks but I love Zaid in jeans and for 2 months he hasnt been able to wear any. Im thrilled this pair I found fit wonderfully, altho I am not thrilled with the price they cost. Maybe I will hit up Once Upon a Child. Someone told me to try OLD NAVY for the adjustables but I really dislike their clothing line for boys.

Kelly, we always have had the same problem with Kavi. It's funny that Zaid has that problem now, I remember how chubby he was when really small, haha. I buy Kavi 12 months shorts even though he is almost 18 months b/c he is thin, but he is taller so pants can be an issue. They are always loose on his waist. He won't need any for awhile here in FL though and he got tons at his bday in February that are still too big on him so they will be good this winter, hopefully the length will be ok. (that was one long grammatically incorrect sentence from me lol!!)

check out Levi's jeans for kids. I bought Ben 2 pairs on times square and they look so cool and are adjustable too. We have the opposite problem. I need to buy him a 2T to be able to button him up, but they're too long. haha. I love how they fit, like "grown up" pants. I also have a pair from the Gap that he wears already with the adjustable waistband.

@chnst: Adam got a pair of Levis for his first birthday and I had to go give them back because they were too small for his potbelly. LIke I said, the Target ones fit very well and they look like grown up pants too.

I love those adjustable pants! Eman has the same problem...he is so tall and skinny...people do not believe it when we say he is 2...the employees at the buffet look at us like "yeah right..."

I went to baby storytime with the kids today and I'm proud to say that Adam finally has the attention span to sit still for about 20 minutes to listen to a story. I have to tease him though and keep telling him that there will be bubbles in the end, that always keeps him going :).

I will try toddler story time on Thursday.

There were two little girls there, both born in the end of August 2008 they are both already WALKING...holy moly. Allie just started cruising, we're far from walking but then again Allie towered over them and beat them weightwise by a good 5lbs :)

omg I just realized that Allie will be 1 next month!! Time flies! I still think of her as Adams tiny baby sister... What are you doing for her birthday?

Ben wasn't crawling until 10 months either. I remember seeing a mother at the mall and her 6 (!!) kids in the changing room, the youngest one was 9 months old (Ben was 10 months old and twice his size) and that tiny little boy was running all over the place while his mother changed his 2 year old twin siblings, talked on the phone, and supervised all the other kids, totalley effortless.

GG...I really found it easier to go from one kid to two kids rather than going from zero to one. You have to change your entire life for the first child while the second one will have to adjust into a routine right away. I bet you don't even 'notice' all the other kids. I don't want to be taking care of six though...I can only imagine the stressfactor there :).

Well, I guess Allie will learn to walk eventually. She's doing good and is right on schedule I guess.

For her birthday we're going to put up every sprinkler we can find and an extra canopy plus tons of ice so everybody can stay kinda cool. August is supposedly the hottest month of the year so we can only hope for a cooler day. We'll stay home though. After all, it's only her first birthday and there are MANY more to come that she will remember. Allie's little friend has her birthday party on the 18th but they are going to rent a pool and I guess I'd have to cancel that. I cannot do a birthday party anywhere near water with Adam or Allie. they are both unstoppable when they see a pool and I'm scared that one of them will fall in. I don't know...what would you do? I was gonna ask my MIL if she could take just Adam for that afternoon but then I feel like Adam is being left out since that little birthday girl has a brother who was born just a month before Adam and they really like each other, too...I don't know.

Why not ask your MIL to come to the party to be an extra pair of eyes and hands.

OMG I'm so tired... I feel like I was hit by a bus and all I did today was hanging out with Ben. I'm only 27 but I feel like I'm 80. He emptied out my wallet and shoved the credit cards and money under the couch but I think my back will break if I bend down. screw the wallet. lol

I know you working mom's must be even more exhausted, but being around a toddler 24/7 is so draining. I love him but I need a day off. I can't wait, we are going to Canada in 4 days, finally hubby can take over and give me a break. :D

@Eveline: I would be nervous too, especially at a party. It's hard work supervising one toddler around an empty pool, but taking care of 2 little ones at a party can be really tough. I agree, maybe you can take grandma with you? On the other hand, do you think Adam will know if you leave him with your MIL? He will have fun spending an afternoon at his grandmas' house and you can go with Allie and actually enjoy the party. You can always set up a playdate with Adam and the older kid later when there is less trouble. just my 2 cents.
