@ Vi: I have the same issues. I do not work out at all. I eat like crazy and lost a lot of weight. Keep eating. I don't bother too much with low calorie foods. Go straight for the meat, carbs, etc and eat the salad only if you are still hungry. When nursing, you need 500 extra calories per day. That is a lot of food! Try to snack a lot too. I really try and it is hard. I'm under 110lbs now (I'm 5feet 6inches, so that is very little) and I get sick then all the time, my clothes don't find, it's annoying. I try though to eat healthy foods and not stuff myself with junk. So I eat eggs every day, my bread has butter and cheese on it nowadays, I eat a lot of red meat, whole grain pasta and so on.

If you find something that works quickly lemme know! ;)

I guess after the C/S your guts are stunned there for a while so you don't feel hungry, can't pass gas or poo...it sucked. I lost weight a lot easier after Adam which might be, since I gained about 20lbs more with him than with Allie. I'm back to normal, I fit in Size 4 clothes and feel totally comfortable.

Stina, My cousin has 5 girls. 7,5,4,2,1 TELL ME SHE ISNT NUTS?!?!?!? 5 csections too. I feel bad sometimes for them thinking 5 periods, 5 proms, 5 weddings, BLAA to that...The sad part is she wanted a boy so bad and was pregnant after baby #3 and lost it at 22 weeks, and it was a boy.

Zaids vocab is alll over the place lately. He is so funny between the arabic and english. For example, he is saying "baby", "boopboo" which is slang for baby in arabic, and "habibi" slang for my sweetheart in arabic. the 3 words to him so sound much alike but he is doing a good job difering what is what. The cutest thing now is he finds a pic of himself or sees his pic on my phone and says "Baaaby" lol.

@Kelly: wow, 5 girls... crazy but also a very special situation. It's so sad that she lost her baby at 22 weeks... Is she still trying for a boy?? The more the merrier...... One of the guys my husband works with has 7 girls and a wife. Needless to say, he works much overtime.

@Vi: I have lost a ton of hair too, I called my hairbrush "puppy" and I was seriously worried about being bald. It stopped and I am not bald but my hair isn't the same it has been before pregnancy.

about the weight loss: i don't want to switch with the skinny girls. I have been underweight all throughout childhood and it is just as much fun as being overweight. I remember being forced to eat butter and these weird high-caloric smoothies astronauts drink in outer space. It was terrible.

Thanks to german candy and puberty I have reached a normal weight. I lost all the baby weight but kept the curves. I have never been so comfortable with my body.

Oh boy...I don't envy you skinny skinny girls....I never had weight problems. I gained a little during puberty. Most I have ever weighed was when I was an aupair at 21 years old, I was 146#. Now - 6 years later - after two kids I'm 130lbs. Big part of my weight (I'm 5'7") is located up north in the Ds

Stef, the doctor told her after baby #4 that she could NOT have another section. Well 2 weeks after she had an IUD put in, voila, she was pregnant and her newest baby was hardly 2 months old. She now has irish twins, and will definitly NOT be having any more. The doctor took over 3 hours fixin her up after the last one bc her uterus was so streched and thin.

I am envious of all of you. I have gained a ton of weight since having zaid. Quitting smoking had a lot to do with it, and lack of time to go to the gym. Ive always had to work out everyday since puberty to even maintain a decent weight, not skinny by all means tho. And with the way my life has been, work, baby, husband, school, clean, work, baby, husband, clean, school, etc. the gym has been put on hold. I am super disgusted with myself so something needs to change soon.

you should try to find a way to exercise with zaid.

i know how u feel about feeling disgusted. People see me and they say i look good for someone who just had a baby, of course i look good, who woulldn't if they were wearing a girdle to hide the fat and shape the body. They don't see me without clothes on, and all the fat, flab, cellulite, stretch marks all over my legs.

i have always had to watch my diet, always had to eat less than i'd like to, always had to exercise to maintain my weight, and still, it's a rollercoaster. It takes lots of will power and i can do it quite often, but it takes a LOT of effort, giving up on food i like, or just eating them every now and then, and, the most important discipline. but it's not easy. sometimes i just can't get motivated when dispite all the efforts i feel like i'm getting nowhere.

so yeah, maybe i'm a bad person, but i really envy people that can keep their shape with no effort at all.

Girls, girls. Here's the pep talk. If we compare ourselves to other people we will never be happy. I have been losing weight since having Kavi, kinda stuck the past 2 months, but plan on continuing. It's a slow process and I am ok with that b/c it gives me a better chance of sticking with it. Even if I got skinny, I will still have stretch marks and not look so great but I am ok with that. I am doing it to be healthier for the future, not to be "hot".

Kelly, don't worry I am sure you will find your right motivation and of course we can support you. I know all about the battle of the bulge. :P But I also don't want to feel down on myself all the time just because I am not thin. Kelly you're a pretty girl!
