@Nessa: physiologoically it is very unlikely to choke when a baby is on his back. The esophagus is behind the trachea, so if there is any spit up while he is sleeping it will probably run back. If he is on his tummy while he sleeps and spits up it is easier for some fluid to run into his airway and get aspirated. Back and side is safest.

I really wasn't sure I could even conceive in the first place because of my age, and we were going to see a specialist about our options, but as it turned out, we didn't need any help. He isn't even here yet, so I have no real idea what that will be like. At this point, I'd be open to one more, and on occasion, J has said he would be as well. I just really doubt lightening will strike twice, and I doubt we would choose to see a specialist in the future. We're just so tickled to have this little guy on the way, and if he completes our family, that's just fine by me.

Thanks for all the input on covering the baby to sleep :)

We want at least 2, but maybe 3. We'll see how we manage with this first one. I would like to have them close in age so they can bond better and play together :star:

Saludos,

Caro

If anyone else watched Gilmore Girls there was a funny episode in which Sukie's husband Jackson wanted "4, in 4"= 4 kids in 4 years, which caused a huge argument. If someone can handle four kids born within 4 years, I'd be amazed. Oh I know it can happen, even not planned, but wow that is a lot of work and childbirth in 4 years. :help:

Girls

I'm loosing my hair like crazy, is it normal???

Yes. :) During pregnancy your hormones cause the hair to fall out way less than normal. A couple months after birth I noticed it more, lasting until about 6 months after. One reason I got a hair cut. lol.

OMG, I find my hair everywhere and Sofia keeps pulling it too, I cannot be wihtout a pony tail when I'm around her. Another thing is that I lost too much weight, I need to gain some and I'm really eating I guess Sofia is taking all of it.

What about something like carnation instant breakfast? Something you can drink that also has calories and nutrition. I didn't have to gain back weight but after the c-section and at home I felt like I had no appetite, but I needed to eat or have nutrition so I had those once or twice a day if needed for a couple weeks. I don't know why but after my c-section my stomach felt all weird(probably from getting pushed around and stuff) and eating was not very enjoyable. So those helped me! And yogurt smoothie drinks.

Yeah that repeat was on recently, once in awhile I watch it on ABC family. Sukie found out she is pregnant but didn't know she was, so Jackson had to tell her that he didn't get the vasectomy. Oh my. Yeah I'm a Gilmore Girls freak.
