Darkhorse - he is such a cutie!!!

Kel - Awww sweetie, hugs to you. How much longer do you have for school and working this crazy schedule? I can relate (even though your schedule is crazier than mine). I have been feeling so overwhelmed lately, trying to balance work and being a mommy and wife. Argh!

I really don't have any business posting as my children are much older and I haven't had an infant in say oh, 9 years.

So my youngest in 9.

I have 3 from my previous marriage.

16 son

nearly 13 girl

9 girl.

I read some of your posts and I can relate to it all.

I remember thinking oh if they would just sleep through night. I recall waiting for them to take their 2 naps, 2! just so I could do what I wanted to do, which was never what I wanted to do, just domestic chores.

I remember how I had to run behind them all the time at other people's houses and functions because they got into everything! I couldn't even enjoy and relax I was always up and at 'em

I remember how sweet they were too as infants and how lucky I was to be at home with them most of the time so I could see all the "firsts".

Now fast forward to a time that seemed so far away. They get easier in a sense that they become independent BUT that independence gets scary in this day and age. Times have changed so much even since I was a preteen and teen.

Now it is boys, and too much makeup , too short of skirts and shorts and "everyone is doing it or has it". It is hanging out with the "wrong" crew and drugs and alcohol and learning to drive.

It doesn't get any less stressful. Running around to all the school activities and conferences, sports and extra curricular activities. Juggling that with a full time job that I now have had the last 2 years.

Trying to figure what I want to do in my spare time and how to rebuild a "career" of some sort.

I am so happy and blessed for my 3 children. So proud of them that they are all moving forward to the next year of their studies and wanted to say I sooooo miss the times when they were as small as some of your children.

That time seems so far away now.

The only advice that I can give is bask in this time now. When they adore you, when they do things wrong and all you can do is laugh. But be firm! and start when they are young.

The saying that a mother's job is never done. That is so true. We could never be repaid or rivaled as far as what we take on day to day.

I hope my husband and I can find a time when we can have a child together.

I am not getting any younger and I feel soon my time that I "can" have a child and "want" to have a child will expire.

I enjoy reading all your milestones and support of one another here.

Good Luck and great job!

Not too far - we were in Sandestin two weeks ago. :)

You are in Tallahassee?

I love living here near the ocean! Ryker went on the boat with us for the first time two weeks ago. We have a little life vest for him and it looks so cute on him :)

Last weekend we went to a friends house and he went swimming with me in their pool. He loves the water.

Yep - in Tallahassee. Awwww...my hubby and I love the water and we can't wait to take Enzo swimming. I think he'll enjoy it tremendously as he lives for bath time. :star:

Jenn - I'm glad you joined us! Yay for more babies!

AFU: The twins and I met up with some friends at the beach today. I am TIRED. It took a lot to schlepp all that stuff to and from the beach! It was a lot of fun and the babies LOVED the sand.
