whats up with all the sickness lately? It's summertime and all the babies are sick... Ben has been coughing for 2 weeks now and a runny nose since tonight. Time to get better kids!!!

Thanks for the advice about the hernia. Enzo has his 2 month vaccines on Monday and I'll have the dr look at the hernia then. My DH and MIL are freaking out about it, I just want Enzo to be ok.

I agree with Chnst, 106 is very high, considering that the thermometer stops at around 108 degrees. I'd take him to the ER if the fever doesn't budge at 104 degrees. Poor little man. I hope you can keep the temperature down over night and get to sleep a little bit. All the best. I guess somebody is up for some serious TLC tonight .

Allie is still on ABX for her ear infection but I forgot to give it to her yesterday. What happens if I just skip one day and then continue? Will it not work at all?

Staashi, Zaids has a herniated belly button as did my best friends daughter., Friends daughters healed by 4 months. Zaids is just about there. Very Common from what I understand.

Declan, Ben, and Allie. Get better you sick babies. And I agree Karen, that fever seems much to high. I hope the little guy can kick it soon. (((hugs)))

Zaid is well. Walking all over, talking more and more. He is learning how to eat with a fork and drink from a cup with no lid and is doing surprisingly well. He is playing peek a boo and patty cake and keeps himself very amused by tickling any foot he can find (even the dogs paws) lol he tickles and makes a sound like "leeda lee leeda lee" which i think he is mocking my "getcha getcha" He is throwing lots of tantrums lately and is learning quickly how to push mom and dads buttons lol. He sticks his fingers down his throat for attention and is CLIMBING all over everything. My baby is officially a little toddler.

Kavi has had a cold as well that he is getting over. I also had something like a cold and sinus thing. Last year I hardly got sick and this year I already have gotten sick 3 times! Kavi too, he didn't have his first real cold until he was almost a year old. And now this is the 3rd time we've been sick this year. Of course it seems like we share every illness.

Kavi took awhile to build enough confidence but now he is walking all over the place and looks very happy with himself about it. He makes animal sounds, immitates us, tests us, etc like the things Kelly mentioned about Zaid. Wow so many of us have toddlers now!!! It's exciting and tiring and fun and sometimes frustrating all at the same time.

Declan's fever is 103 today and daddy is taking him to the doctor at 1. My husband also was not feeling well last night, so he slept in our guest room and Declan was in the bed with me. Declan was such a restless sleeper and of course, I didn't sleep much, because I kept checking his temp. and rubbing his back and stuff. I was dead this morning. I cancelled my first 2 clients and slept for a couple hours. I am at work now.

The diaper rash is finally gone. It started getting better when i started to air his butt twice a day and bathe him. I had already stopped the wipes, no babywash, and i'm still applying Desitin (which is my favorite ointment, btw). Also, Charles had the idea of using cotton balls to clean him instead of regular cloth, so it would be gentle to his skin.

My parents used Desitin on me and my two brothers and my mom loves the stuff. She always said it worked better than any of the others. Strangely enough, that's also what my tattoo artist told me to rub on my new tattoo twice a day for a month back when I first got it! So Desitin rocks and is good for lots of stuff!

I am really happy with lucky vitamin's service and prices and herbpharm products. All herb extracts are always done in grain alcohol which is fine, as you dilute the extract with boiled water. Desitin didn't work for us, but Weleda did.

Anyways, that store is really good anyways, we buy detergent, dish soap and so on there. They have amazing prices on that stuff, it is waaayyy more expensive at Wholefoods or any drugstore. And you don't have to lug it around

They get newborn acne. It will go away...my MIL washes his face with chamomille tea.

Well, the doctor thinks Declan has the flu, but wanted to run some blood tests to be on the safe side. I went over to the lab to meet them. My poor baby looks so miserable. His fever is up to 104. I am back at work now and really struggling with being here. I want to be home with my little boy, but I have no vacation time and we really need me to get a paycheck. This is so hard, working and being a mom.
