@Vi: I agree with Eveline. It has been suggested to introduce solids at 4-6 months, but the current recommendation is to start solid food (cereals, fruit, veggies) at 6 months. Since your baby is premature I'd definitely wait and let her intestines mature a little longer. Do whatever your gut feeling tells you is right for Sofia. Same goes for the sleeping. If she sleeps best with you or in her stroller, then that's fine as long as it is safe and works for you. If you could ask a baby, whether she wants to sleep alone in a big crib or close to her mommy, guess what the answer would be. Just do whatever feels right and makes you and baby happy. I'd keep trying the crib, but I wouldn't put her in it and leave her crying all by herself because that's what people tell you is the right thing to do. ETA: I love the new pictures of your little girl. She is adorable!

@Chrissy: awww looks like Dylan is thrilled with his baby sister. so cute!

I'm in agreement with Stef - and it is true, Sofia will want to sleep with you rather than her crib...it is only logical. Here's an idea for you that we do: After feeding Enzo and he seems more awake than Gustavo and me, I will put Enzo in Gustavo's arms or mine and let him fall asleep. Once he's asleep - snoring practically (yes, he snores) :innocent: we put him in his crib where he'll stay until he wakes up again.

A funny thing happened today, Enzo wouldn't stop crying for anything...it was so frustrating. So, my husband grabbed some fresh cut watermelon and put a little piece to Enzo's lips...he loved it! He would stick his tongue out tasting it - he loved how sweet it was. When Gustavo pulled it away Enzo raised his head to taste it again. We even dipped his paci in the watermelon juice and he was super happy. :star:

Chrissy@ Congratulations, your baby is adorable, very cute and the picture with the big brother so sweet, love it love it love it (L)

Nessa@ I'm glad you solve the problem, it's almost official that I'm going to stay home with the baby.

Caro@ How is everything going?

Booty@ don't know you but congratulations!

Hugs

vI

Everything is going good, thanks for asking :)

Little Sebas kicks me 'round the clock and mostly on my right side, way on the side where there's less muscle and is more tender. I guess he really likes making himself heard, don't know where he would get that from :innocent:

I love the new pics of Sofia, the one where she's sleeping is so cute!

Saludos,

Caro

You can use either one, Nessa. The J&J cornstarch also has aloe vera and it comes in the powder container. :star: Seven weeks in and still no diaper rash - don't know how long it will last but I've got to say that he stays really dry. We also put it on his body after he has a bath - and we've never used any lotion on him.

Yes, they love to be in that position - reminds them of the womb.

Enzo doesn't mind fragrance...actually, my MIL even puts a baby cologne on Enzo - it's called "Upa-la-la" (it's from Argentina) and he always smells delicious. I couldn't believe that she wanted to put it on him but he doesn't mind at all.

Staashi@ We've tried that too, and when I stand up next to her crib thinking that she will stay sleep,Plop! she wakes up, and this happens everytime... sometimes it drives me crazy

Chnst@ I guess I will continue sleeping with her on my chest, well, tonight I will bring the stroller into my room and put it next to my side of the bed

Caro@ I'm glad la barriguita is doing great, I love the name Sebastian, actually if someday we have a boy we will name him Sebastian , Hubby wanted Diego (from Maradona) but I convinced him .

We went to Babies R Us, we need to get the box of diapers, we are in love with the Swadlers- Sensitive (Pampers) ones, we got a new tub for Sofia, the whale from Fisher Price, is so cute a cooler for her milk and some clothes, we got AMAZING deals on baby clothes on sale plus 30%off, hoodies for $2.00, sweater for less than 3 dollars, amazing, my mom was really happy about it.

Time to go, have a good night everyone

Hugs

Vi

Before I forget, we put baby lotion on Sof, she uses Agu from Peru, the same one I used when I was a baby.
