May 26th we start our Bradley method birthing classes. 12 weeks course/ 1 session per week.

@autumnchik: Sorry to hear about Declan's ear infection. I hope it passes quickly for him!

@Anna C.: Totally agree with you on the OB - Midwife view Being low risk, I really appreciate the strong emotional support and how they get to know you and make a lot of emphasis in healthy dieting, exercising, and managing stress. Another thing that I like is that after the delivery the baby will never leave our sight, he'll be placed on a bassinet in our room and he'll stay with us until we check out.

@MzMo1102: Thank you, it's reassuring to know other women felt the same. Glad to hear you and the baby are doing good

Nessa: The pics are great.

AFM: I really love my ob/gyn. She was worried about me when she saw me at an appointment on Christmas Eve (I was around 34 weeks). So concerned, in fact, that she called me at home on Christmas Day just to make sure I was ok. Her intuition that something was not right was spot on. I ended up admitted to the hospital the next day for three weeks.

I know where you're coming from with the OBY and the hospital mess and all but having the baby at home in my opinion would still hold a risk I have a really good OBY so far and I wish they continue this way. Either way I wish anyone having a baby to have a safe delivery

@ Eveline – thank you. Well here in Australia, we’re heading into the end of financial year (June 30) and we’re extremely busy. It doesn’t really help with the fact my job involves a lot of time outside of the office, work functions and late night conferences. In a way Im glad about moving to the US and taking a long career break, but this has been my life for the last few years and I must admit, I will miss it.

I had my glucose test done again today…getting results in a few days so fingers crossed that all is well this time!

I'm being very busy, my dad is leaving on Saturday so we have been visting different sites in NYC, we are going to the zoo tomorrow and the next day Statue of Liberty.

My parents are sleeping with the baby tonight so I will be able to get some sleeo, Yay!!!!

So Roland had his 2 week apointment today and was 1lb over his birth weight! Dr. said he's really healthy. I couldn't believe he gained a pound already.
