I like braz. wax. because it lasts longer, so i don't have to shave constantly.

what the hell is wrong with these doctors??? I am so mad right now, I have to vent... Ben has been constipated for ten months now and it gets worse and worse. I feel they don't take this serious at all! Whenever it gets worse they just bump up his laxatives. He is taking twice the adult doese of miralax and four times the recommended dose of another laxative. Nothing works. His rectum keeps bleeding, he can't have a bm by himself and his hemorrhoids are getting bigger the more he tries to push. I was hoping they would do some testing before giving him all this #######.

He has been pushing and crying for 2 days now, today is the 4th day without a bm. I called the gastroenterologist but she wasn't there, then called the pedi who said he will call me back but he never did. I just called the doc office again but they're gone!

My kid is miserable and not eating, he keeps pushing but there is only blood coming out but the doctor doesn't feel it's anything out of the ordinary. We are supposed to get him yet another laxative from the pharmacy and call back monday.

I am contemplating taking him to Germany for an evaluation. I just don't understand why the hell they can't just do a sonogram if everything fails. Something is wrong with him but it seems like no one will listen.

I would be really REALLY pissed too. Its insane that they say its normal. ITS NOT NORMAL for a baby to push out blood. I am so sorry for you but more than that I am sorry for Ben. poor kid.

If you already tried changing doctors here, I say go for it. Doctors here suck, all they care about is money, getting a fat check from the big laboratories, and liability. They don't care about the patient at all

Nessa@Brazilian wax?? not for me, my sister went for it and she ended crying, I guess I'm not brave enough.

Today I took Sofia for her 2nd appointment and when we got to the doctor's office they told us that there was a mistake, that she didn't need to see the doctor until next week, so why the heck did they give me the appointment??? I'm so pissed !!! , I have to go back next friday.

She still has problems with gases, I think is the bottle, we got the Playtex- Drops in system but she doesn't like the nipple, could somebody recommend me a good brand, what about Dr.Brown???.

She is growing really fast, moving her her and staring at everyhting. My parents are being great help, they are really enjoying being here with their nieta.

Gotta go, the baby is hungry..

Chnst - I am so so sorry you and Ben are having to deal with this. I would get a second and a third opinion as soon as possible. Be open with the doctors about your frustration that they keep saying it is normal .... confront them on that issue and that all they are doing is giving more meds. Ask for them to do a sonogram. I had some concerns initially with Declan's surgeon for the second surgery (the ####### one). I did not feel comfortable with him at first and felt like he rushed the examination. So I contacted him and told him that. He spent a lot of time on the phone with me explaining things and also scheduled another appointment to further discuss my concerns. After that, I did feel comfortable, but I had also been contemplating taking him to another surgeon.

It is normal. They run out of room to move. If you feel it is abnormal, call your doctor. I ended up visiting L/D per my dr's orders when my two didn't move for a day. All was ok, but it took a while to get a passing NST and I was told I did the right thing. The nurses say a mom's intuition is usually correct.
