London hold up?

Hi. i wondered if anybody could tell me the longest they had to wait to get an interview from London?

I am also wonderign if anybody got held back at this stage for any reason? Is this likely the case?

My case was forwarded to London on the 2nd of May and it is now June 13th. So they have had it for well over a month. I have emailed the Consular numerous times and the last response i got said i would hear soon. That was weeks ago now. I emailed again at the end of last week but no reply yet.

So i am starting to wonder what has happened if anything. I would like an idea of how long this could be. Is it another 999 days type of open ended affair.

I am so fed up right now.

Any feedback is appreciated.

thanks

Yep, this is London's slow season for sure.

My file was forwarded (per NVC) on 2nd June last year.

I was not advised of my husband's interview date till mid-late July, and that was after emailing them something chronic. The interview itself was scheduled for the first week of September, but then after emailing them again (long story, I emailed them prior to the date being assigned telling them that due to school commitments, I needed an interview date before the last week in August, and they thought it said i needed a date AFTER the last week of August), it got changed to Mid-August, whcih was the on-schedule time - several other files that got sent with mine also had appointments around the same day as mine.

I know that the one time that the embassy DIDN'T respond to my email was when my interview date was imminent, so maybe it's a good sign for you too. Good luck.

Happy

Jayke

Thanks for responding. I had hoped for mid to late July at the latest but i guess i should prepare for the worst.

Maybe i should say "due to family commitments i need an interview NOW". :P

Hey yabasta. Our case was sent to london on the same date as yours, we still have to hear as well, and are starting to get a little pissed.

Was thinking about doing the same thing, but it looks like the embassy has stopped replying to emails. grr

I am not understanding this hold up for CR-1's. Still seeing K-1's getting packet 3's, and interviews. Waiting on an email reply since last Thursday here, atleast like to know they have our case! Hoping the two of you hear something soon, keep us posted.

Embassy records indicate that the Immigration Visa Unit completed the administrative processing of your CR-1 visa application forms on June 12. You should receive notification of an interview appointment date within the next six to eight weeks.

Thank you for your e-mail correspondence.

 Thanks Sam, did that already this morning, no date as of yet. The very nice lady did say our case had finished administrative process, and looked in order and everything appeared good to go for an interview! She stated it was just to early to have a date since this was only finished 2 days ago.
