5 days ago we paid the AOS fees.. $70 and then after 4 days the payment had been processed and the Payment status said PAID... so we printed the coversheet letter and got the AOS package ready to be sent to the NVC... and we did today!

few minutes ago I went to check the NVC website and see if anything came up I found the AOS fees status NOT PAID... then when I clicked the invoice link the payment status was: REJECTED

so can anyone till me what's going on? on Ling Shortcuts he referred to some situation like that and said do not pay twice!

The problem is that the Payment status was PAID... and I've printed the document coversheet and now it's saying NOT PAID and the payment was Rejected... how come it was PAID and now it's NOT PAID? do you think I made a mistake while paying the fees? I've already sent my AOS package to NVC... do you think they'll return it back to me?

I think you're supposed to wait for the NVC to contact you before you send in the I-864. You can't just print the cover sheet and send in the I-864, they should send you information. Also, I believe the DS-3032 must clear before that happens. The NVC website says if you send the I-864 before told to do so that it can delay the process. Maybe this is why its happened?

Not really, according tp LingChe and James Shortcuts you should send off the AOS (I-864) Package as soon as the payment Status is PAID on the NVC website! and many people did that and things went really well with them without any delays!

secondly DS-3032 has nothing to do with the AOS.. and when it's accepted, the IV fee becomes payable... and actually that form is to determine who should they contact about the Immigrant visa and who is going to pay the fees...

have you called NVC to check on the actual status of the payment?

I would call and tell them that it said paid, now says not paid..whats the deal?

good luck, sorry I dont have any wisdom to offer :)

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I had a similar problem with paid/not paid... I called NVC and they said if you pay too early it messes up the system.. just call and have them check on it and they will fix it soon after!
