Spelling of fiancee's name

Quick question about the name. In my fiancee's "foreign" passport there is a very weird transliteration of her name. It is simply unreadable, even though a better and more understandable transliteration exists, for some stupid reason government uses that one.

Anyway, I will use that name in I-129F and G-325 forms, but I was wondering if we could change that spelling sometime later? I would prefer all her new documents in US have new transliteration, is that possible? When will we get a chance to change the spelling of her first name? I guess marriage?

Pak, leave her name the way it is for now. There is no need to create any problems or misunderstandings with the Consulate or the INS. Once she is here, get married and then you can request the judge to change her name to anything you two like

I used to be indecisive. Now I am just not sure ...

The name that you use on the I-129F must match the name in Latin Characters that is on the individual's passport. No if's and's or but's...

Once she marries you, she can just take your name so you don't have to worry about it anymore...

That's her FIRST name :) But thank you, I think we'll wait till marriage to change that too.
