Ok i had a business in 2003 i spent a lot of money on it. It brought money but at the end i had a big lost in my taxes. 2004 i did better but same thing. 2005 Same, 2006 had a profit of 8,000 now i did not file person taxes in the previous year since there was no profit. The year i had the gain I filled for the 8,000. 2007 i decided it was not working so i started something else. So i bought a rehab property on that was foreclosed by the city. I fixed it then i spent the whole doing that. I now live there. In 2008 i took a loan on it then bought 4 Rental home rehabs. I have two of them fixed up and i am not collecting rent from them. One i am working on right now will be ready end of Feb. I am sure when i file i will have a lost for 2008. since i pretty much live on a loan for a year and saving the year before. and spent a lot. Now the amount of money i am bringing in now is well over the qualification line. however i am not sure how to go about proving it. After searching on real estate site i have an idea what the homes (assets) are worth but how do you prove that to the embassy, i was thinking i could give copies of leases, copies of the deeds. I don't want her to go to the embassy and they ask for more proof. Can some one help
