Hey....Im currently filing for my AOS from a k1 visa. In the package will be form I 485 and also I765 (employment authorisation.) It says on an office locator that my local office in minneapolis..so do i file this here or do i file it at 1 of the 4 main offices in usa like i did for k1 visa (in this case our closet will be the dreaded california service centre)

01-27-09......Applied for SSN

02-03-09......SSN Received

02-24-09......Interview at 12:00 pm in San Diego !! APPROVED!!

02-28-09......Welcome Letter Received & approval for I-130!!

03-09-09.......Green card in the mail!

The address where to file the AOS packet is on the instructions page of the I-485. It all goes to the Chicago Lockbox.

Same here.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

Chicago is where you send your packet.

Minneapolis will be where you will do your biometrics.

I think Minneapolis it will be the office where they will have interview. Yeah, If they live there they will have biometrics there too.

July 26, 2014 - received I-797 in mail

August 11, 2014 - received the Biometrics notification

August 14, 2014 - biometrics walk-in (original date August 20)

August 18, 2014 - in line for interview scheduling

September 9, 2014 - yellow letter is received (letter is issued September 3)

November 3, 2014 - interview notice is issued (email/text alert)

November 10, 2014 - interview notice received with the interview date of December 11, 2014.

November 10, 2014 - request to reschedule mailed out

December 5, 2014 - interview notice is sent out (email/text alert)

December 11, 2014 - received an interview letter in mail

January 10, 2015 - interview on Saturday at 7am
