Ugghh!!

After spending almost $80.00 to get the G-325 and Letter of Intent signed by my fiance, and returned to me ..... he didn't sign his full name. He only signed his first name!!

Although this is quite standard in his home country I'm guessing that it won't fly with the USCIS?

Thoughts, anyone ....

My wife (fiancee back then) only signed in first name in the letter and the Consulate had no problem with it. I think you are fine. Do not worry about it anymore.

But what about the G-325? He only signed his first name on all four copies of that form as well.

I guess maybe I should just call the USCIS. I'm getting conflicting reports. The majority on this forum says a "first name only" signature won't fly .... but the majority on another forum says it should be ok.

Read it, and tell me what you think. It may or may not be addressing your concern. Just a thought.

it is just a signature. you can't tell what my last name (and half the time my first name) is in my signature. It does have to match other documents tho (like the passport) I was told. As long as it is the signature always used you should be ok.

YMMV however.
