No Oath letter yet

Hi there, I'm getting a little freaked out because I havent received my Oath Letter yet, it has been almost 2 months since my interview and I just would like to know what your opinions are, I made contact with some people I met during the interview, they all told me they received their letters and they will swear in tomorrow January 29, I called the USCIS and the service says there is no information about my case and the letter the officer gave me after the interview says congratulations your application has been recommended, etc, it also says to write if I haven't received my Oath letter but after 90 days of my interview . It seems unlikely the letter got lost, I mean I have gotten all of my letters from the USCIS, so, I'm worried about it and I'd like to know what you guys think. My worries come from the fact that in L.A. it seems to be that your Oath ceremony is always a month after your interview, and in my case it hasn't been like that. Any input?

I would make an info pass appointment to your field office and ask about this.

I had my interview in LA too and still waiting until now. One who got interviewed a week before me mentioned that Jan-Feb are full. My friend received hers a week after her interview.. Maybe it varies. Let's just hope we got ours in the mail anytime soon..

There are about LA members there who interviewed in early Dec 08 and are still waiting for oath letters. Seeing that you are not alone might help re-assure you. HTH

AUSCAL, thank you so much, that's sooo sweet of you!, my gosh, God bless you for going over the net to find information for me. It does make me feel better, I have been worried because I thought maybe I was the only one, I even had a nightmare about it, my hubby has been really worried too. A lot of people dont realize how stressful it is to go through this sort of thing, stressful not only for us but for our loved ones. I just hope everything works out for all of us and we get our citizenships really soon. Thank you!

I was waiting for a while too. Well in my case I had to leave the country after my interview. So i went and got an infopass appointment and asked my status. The USCIS officer told me I was scheduled this February and I should be getting my letter soon. And I did just get my letter two days ago.

So if you really want some answers try to get an infopass appointment.
