Change in Employment, AOS, I-864, HELP!!!!! :(

Hiya all! Hubby and I had sent off our AOS, EAD and AP packet in late Dec last year, we received a Request for Initial Evidence early Jan. They need more supporting evidence for the I-864.

Our problem is, when we sent the forms, hubby (USC) was self employed (musician, music teacher, student) he started work with an electric company the week we got the RFE so now we dont know what to do.

Do we file the forms as before, stating him as self employed?

Or do we write a letter stating that he has now taken a regular permanent job, and send a letter from employer, pay stubs etc?

My guess is the second option is better, but he has only been working there 3 weeks, so we dont have 6 months of pay stubs, and its not like he has a long employment history with the company to show...

Will they accept the letter from his employer as good enough?

It is best to provide an NEW I-864 along with new employment information since it has CHANGED.

Take a new I-864 with you to the interview but I wouldn't bring it up unless it comes up.
