'Passort' photo w/I-129F?

From the I-129F instructions on the USCIS site...

The photos must have a white background, be glossy, un-retouched and not mounted.

Well, I've got my entire packet together, and intend to mail it tomorrow. NOW, and only now do I see that the photos I got of each of us there in the RP are MATTE-FINISHED, and clearly not glossy. However, inside the CD-ROM sleeves I've put them, this MAY go un-noticed. When you pull them out of that sleeve, however, it's pretty clear.

I got the size correct, and the white background.

Think I've got an RFE in the works? Should I send her to get glossy ones, and Fed-Ex them to me?

Thanks.

it's okey...in our case we never follow the standard one...i only took picture in the philippines and email to my husband and my husband printed it here...eventhough it was not so white background they accept it...and the margining is not properly right...it was okey...we never get RFE for that...

I got away with a philippines style passport photo of my fiancee (basically the same as a US passport style photo but the background is dark blue instead of white). You are better off though to have her visit a photographer and have her send digital copies by email, which you can then print in walmart or just about anywhere else on photo paper. People have gotten RFE's for plenty of minor things, so you are better off to deal with it now and delay sending the packet a few days then to potentially have to deal with an RFE later which will be an even larger delay.

Thank you both SO MUCH! I think I may be Okay, but I will play it safe. I'm so anxious, I didn't even THINK about the easy way with e-mail! That's what I'll have her do today! Much appreciated!

I had plenty of time to think through the fastest (and cheapest) way to deal with it as I expected an RFE for the correct 'style' of passport photo's, a physical package from the phils runs about 50-60 dollars, you don't want to have to do that very often...
