RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A California appeals court has ruled that a Christian high school can expel students because of an alleged lesbian relationship.

The 4th District Court of Appeal in Riverside on Monday upheld California Lutheran High School's right as a private, religious organization to exclude students based on sexual orientation.

Two girls sued claiming they were discriminated against after they were expelled from the Wildomar school in 2005. A lower court said the school isn't bound by the same anti-discrimination laws as a business establishment.

Basically, these two were chops who never had a case anyway--maybe they used Newdow (who based entire case against Allegiance Pledge on lots of fiction of his own invention) and Farakhan (lots of spurious cases by NOI members against Denny's for serving them pork products--I've been at more than one, they'll always exclude meats upon request) as examples/models.

Lots of child abuse and sexual abuse go on in "Christian" Churches.

What percentage of children who go to church are sexually abused? What percentage of sexually abused children are abused in a church? The only reason this even comes up is because we can throw a label to it. Lets not forget, people who do stuff like that are mentally ill.

With regards to the school, it is clearly a private school so they should be able to mandate their own rules.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I have a aunt who was raised in Catholic Orphange, she told me she was sexually molested by a few of the nuns

I had my brother n law at the age of 16, got the tar beat out of him by the Baptist Preacher "Brother Jerry" was his name, we called the police out they took some pics and it was all swept under the table.

A couple of years later this Preacher was finally arrested and charged with having sex with the high school girls in exchange for diplomas.

That is my personal experience.

Then you always her about children getting molested at either church or church school.

And then all the Catholics Preachers getting heat for molesting all the young children decades ago.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

As a private school - they have the right to enforce their own rules, though I would be curious whether they're as draconian when it comes to any high-school/pre-marital sexual relationships.

exactly... what do they do with H.S. pregnancy cases? Do they react the same way when two boys fondle eachother before gym class?

Probably not. As the Godfather once sang, ' This is a man's world '.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

thats really stupid any restaurant will exclude any meat some will substitute fruit or something in place of it, but they will all exclude meat and if u dont eat pork its ur own responsibility to make sure that gravy and other things are not made with pork products

#######, really.

Some "schools" forget their mandate and become beacons of morality (rephrase: bleeding deacons of THEIR idea of morality). And if they auto-denominate a "religious organization", maybe they should cut the cr@p and start slashing the science curriculum as well, and while they are at it, omit all uncomfortable passages of World History that do not flatter the catholic clique, I mean, church.

Maybe they already do? The best thing is to make people aware that there might be a problem with a school (sueing will get this into the public notice) and allow prospective parents to make up their own minds as to whether this is an appropriate educational environment, or not. Not much else one can do really.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Last I checked, Lutherans are not Catholics--or perhaps you need a rehash of "Thirty Years War"?
