Getting Interview Date @ Embassy in El Salvador

Is this an embassy with a lot of requests? Do they get booked quickly? Now that our case is complete I hope we get a date soon. If you have any experience with this embassy, pls let me know. Thanks!

Pues a mi me llevo mas de un mes para recibir el paquete 4 con la fecha de la entrevista. El numero de telefono que me dieron fue para llamar a un Call Center en Mexico que por cierto no me ayudo en nada.

No estoy seguro para tu tipo de visa, pero me imagino que debe ser similiar, La embajada te manda una carta a tu direccion el el salvador con el dia y la fecha de la netrevista, por lo general son dos entrevistas. Puedes leer las Reviews de la embajada de el salvador aqui en VJ.

Ya casi terminas tu proceso.

Our case for CR1 was completed On Nov.28 2007, December 5th was when my interview was scheduled for January 29th 2008.

My husband's case was completed on April 28, 2009. I called the NVC yesterday and told them that I was seeing several people online whose cases were completed after mine who already had interviews scheduled. I asked if mine had been scheduled or when it would be. They told me the date (June 29). A few hours later I got an email with the information.

I have also never had any luck calling the number for the embassy. The information does not seem to be helpful at all......

Here is my expirience

Les cuento que ya pasé el primer susto, jeje... o sea la 1° entrevista

Llegué como a las 6 y 15 AM a la embajada, a las 6y30 ya estabamos en la glorieta haciendo la fila de los de "Residencia" y luego bajo un brillante sol nos tuvieron parados esperando a que nos revisaran.... No estuvo tan estresante ni tan larga la espera, yo fui la N° 12 ... salí como a las 9 y 30 y solo me hicieron preguntas para verificar datos, me devolvieron los documentos que habia enviado al NVC y me entregaron una pagina amarilla para que me dejen entrar el lunes 15, la señora me dijo... "todo parece estar bien en sus papeles, la cita es a las 12, mejor almuerce antes porque va estar acá por mucho tiempo" ... asi que llegaré temprano y bien comida el lunes jeje

La verdad es que sentí un gran alivio al salir de allí, y creo que ya no estoy tan asustada para la otra entrevista...

Estos dias de espera son dificiles... pero Gracias a Dios, pasan! y se llega el gran dia.... Pues yo estaba sentada adentro de la embajada y pensaba.... wow! he pasado tanto tiempo esperando llegar acá y al fin se llegó el día! Definitivamente es como ver una luz al final del camino!

Aun estoy nerviosa para el lunes... pero estando allí adentro recordé lo que es sentirse plenamente vivo, jeje con unos latidos tan pero tan fuertes en mi pecho.... asi que definitivamente estaré un poco mas tranquila en la próxima... Y espero traer excelentes noticias!!!
