I already posted this in the AOS section.

but im curious...Last friday Othmanes AP was approved by email and his EAD was touched. Then yesterday we got in the mail an "Inital Interveiw" date for July 25th for I-485

Does that seem wierd that we have an interveiw date before the EAD is sent? or am i just wondering too much about nothing?

Im excited but curious at the same time.

It's not common, but it happens from time to time from what I've read in the AOS forum. My guess is that the applications are processed seperately (one group processes EADs and one group processes AOSs), and the AOS group is going a bit more quickly than the EAD group.

Good luck gathering everything you need for the interview. Congrats! :star:

Congratulations on these developments :thumbs::dance::dance: ...How exciting...Well, from what I have seen around it is very possible that you will get the interview before the EDA...Hope that there will be some movement on the EDA part soon...you never know you might as well get it before the interview will take place...But it seem that it is all going good...
