YEs you Could. They usually reply you within 7 working days

yep u can email them.

i emailed NVC 1/19/09 and got a reply 1/26/09 with our case number as the subject title of the email

i found this sample email somewhere in VJ forums and i just copied and edited it.. it worked!

Dear National Visa Center,

Good Day!

I am writing to inquire about the status of our approved I-129F petition with Receipt Number: WACxxxxxxxxxx. May we request you to please assist us with any standing information regarding this matter with specifics on our case number assignment. yes you will, just include in your e mail the applicants and petitioner name and Date of Birth and also the receipt number form the USCIS.I e mailed them before and I got a response from them 2 days
