Is that normal? im just wondering.

My Husbands AP was approved last friday and his EAD touched friday and yesterday. Then yesterday I came home to find an "Initial Interveiw" date for July 25th.

Im psyched...but curious if anyone else has received a proposed interveiw date before the EAD is approved and sent?

Im assuming his EAD will be approved before that but im curious.

Yep! We got our notice for interview shortly after we got our appointment letter for biometrics. Our reciept date for AOS and EAD is May 18 and we have our interview August 8!

Why wasnt mine transfered to CSC? is there a different procedure?

I think some people are getting transferred to CSC but I don't think everybody is. As far as I know we didn't get transferred - unless they did it without informing me!

We received the interview appt letter before the EAD and AP have been approved. Check my timeline for more info. Congrats :).

25 March 2006 - Mailed AOS package to Chicago! (I-485, EAD, AP)

28 March 2006 - AOS package recieved (day 1)

4 April 2006 - I-130, I-765 (EAD) NOA date by USCIS. NO AP, yet. (day 7)

6 April 2006 - Checks cashed (NOT AP)

7 April 2006 - I-130, I-765 NOA's recieved in mail! (day 10)

10 April 2006 - I-131 (AP) RETURNED. Should have mailed it to Nebraska Service Center <confused> (originally sent it to Chicago Lockbox with AOS..) (day 13)

11 April 2006 - I-131 mailed to Nebraska as requested (day 14)

14 April 2006 - Bio appt letter in mail (day 17)

17 April 2006 - I-131 (AP) NOA1 received(day 20)

2 May 2006 - Biometrics completed I-485 and I-765 (day 35)

9 May 2006 - I-131 (AP) RFE email recieved, RFE request by USCIS. (day 42)

13 May 2006 - RFE Recieved, missed a bunch of stuff? (day 46)

15 May 2006 - Mailed requested info back (Nebraska) (day 48)

22 May 2006 - I-485 Interview Notice Arrived! (July 13th)! (day 55)

22 June 2006 - AP Approved (day 86)

29 June 2006 - Interim EAD success in Denver DO.

13 June 2006 - Interview. "not concrete approved", received two emails later same day approving I-485 and I-130. "welcome notice was mailed" and "approval notice was mailed"

17 July - I-485 Welcome notice received and I-130 approval received

18 July - I-485 "after approving your application, we ordered you a new card" email received.

24 July - GREEN CARD RECEIVED! All info correct. Apply to lift conditions 7/13/08

No EAD or AP so far, not even another "touch"...

Guess it won't take too long now until EAD and AP is approved. :dance:

--Jan 13,2006 Entered USA as Visitor (B2) ( I-94 is valid till end of June,2006)

--March 28,2006 Married in Naperville ,Illinois to United States Citizen

--April 5, 2006 Medical examination (I 693)+ Vaccination supplement form completed (chicago)

--April, 18,2006 AOS Package(I 130,I 485, I765)+supporting documents sent (chicago Lock Box)(DAY 1)

--May 1, 2006 BIOMETRIC APPOINTMENTS ( I 765 , I 485) received by mail for May 6, 2006

--May 6, 2006 BIOMETRICS TAKEN BY USCIS in Naperville (Day 19)

--July 21,2006 Initial Interview but waiting for FBI NAME CLEARANCE (Day 92)

--April 25, 2009 Infopass appointment to inquire my case : Result case was approved in June of 2008 but no body bothered to update my file (Day almost 610 )

--June 29 ,2009 10 year green card with date of Perm resident June 2008 received (Day almost 680 since interview )

--July 2011 Citizenship Interview :

-- Nov 2011 Oath Ceremony -US Citizen
