So I am just researching other peoples questions so i would have to post one...but i cant seem to get the straight answer im looking for so im just going to ask :)

I am getting all the i-134 information ready for my fiance, as he is supposed to receive packet 3 any day now.

First of all....does any one have a link to the supposed more recent i-134 affadavit? supposedly this copy has no where that it has to be notarized? according to the uscis website, they are still giving the regular form with the notary space at the bottom. Anyone have this new form?

Next question...(i dont know if it matters from embassy to embassy...but our interview is at the us embassy in london), i copied my w-2 from 07' (most recent filings i have), and i have a copy of my 1040EZ. Do I need to give them copies of both of these? is it needed?

my main question....do i need 3 years or 1 year past w-2 or tax returns??

do you need to turn in just w-2's or/and ur tax returns?

i am not the main sponsor of my fiance because i didnt really make a lot last year, like i did this year. so my dad is the co-sponsor....so will i just need maybe copies of my fathers w-2 or tax forms AND mine anyway or just his?

THANKS!

the new form is on the uscis website. the instructions clearly state that it is not necessary to have it notorized.

look under the section "execution of affidavit" it states you are "signing under penalty of perjury and for this reason it is not necessary to sign in front of a notary"

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-134instr.pdf

I think it says you CAN include 3 years tax transcripts..thats what we are doing, i would rather be safe than sorry

Good luck on the interview :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

You can get tax transcripts from IRS. They are MUCH more valid than copies of tax returns.

Call 24/7 I-800 829-1040. They are free and take about 7 days to get.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
