hello.... my fiance is about to file the I-129f petition.... but I just have a few questions on my mind...

i worked in the US for a year after I was done school on OPT (I am from Canada)... I just realized that for 2008 and 2009 that I filed the wrong tax form... at any time in the k1 visa process do they look at this... will this affect us getting approved?? should I call and try and correct this. I had no idea, I didnt file the wrong form on purpose just inexperience.

your help is appreciated.

NOA'S Received: March 19, 2010

RFE: March 25, 2010

Case transferred to CSC: April 19, 2010

my tax experience prior to k1 was uncertain to say the least, i'm not even sure if i even filed.

I worried it would affect our process but ...

I'm here after k1 approval with AP and EAD in hand while waiting for GC

I know it might come back to bite us in the #### at some point but not immigration wise anyway.

K-1 Application

2nd October 2007 - I-129F sent to CSC

10th October 2007 - NOA1 issued

31st January 2008 - NOA2 issued

22nd May 2008 - Interview date

18th July 2008 - US here I come

22nd August 2008 - Wedding date

AOS

================

15th September 2008 - AOS Pack (I485, I131, I765) Sent

22nd September 2008 - NOA1 x 3 Received

6th October 2008 - Transferred to CSC

17th October 2008 - Biometrics

5th December 2008 - EAD & AP approved

20th February 2008 - GC approved

I-751

================

1st December 2010 - I-751 Sent (CSC)

3rd December 2010 - I-751 Received

7th December 2010 - Cheque cashed

3rd January 2011 - Biometrics
