Hi! I have been living in the Philippines for almost 6 years. I adopted a child and it was recently approved. while i wait for that to process I would like to start a process for my nanny, she has been with us for 4 yrs and is like family. What is the process I should use and what are the chances of her being approved?

Thanks,

Bellas Mommy

Unfortunately, you have very little chances of getting the nanny a visa, unless she is related to you, in which case you can apply for a relative's visa. There are plenty of nannys in the USA, so they government isn't giving workers visas the way they would for highly skilled people.

Not much chance of getting your nanny to the US. Only way probably is to adopt her also. I'm not being funny. Unless the nanny is financially VERY solid on her own there is little chance of her going to the US even on a tourist visa .

Philippines have had to many people who went TNT [illegal] when visiting the USA. Made it tough on their fellow countryman that want to visit or work.
