Cooooooooool!! :-)))) That is so exciting!! I am so obsessed with figuring out when our approval might come!! I hope sooner than later by some miracle! Congrats to u and hope my husband and I can say the same as well as others still waitinggggg....

I know u said the posted dates didn't make sense ... I am confused by that as well..Some people got approved already and they filed in aug 2008 like us but the USCIS website is currently processing April 2008..how is that possible? Can someone help me figure it all out?

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online

03/27/2009 : AOS/DS 230 package sent to NVC; 04/02/2009 : AOS & DS-230 entered into NVC system

04/14/2009 : Found out K3 was forwarded to the consulate in Leb and CR1 stuck in AP; 04/18/09: K3 delivered

Hello everybody

My husband applied for K3 visa in Vermont in August 2008 and in December got a message that petition was forwarded to California and then we thought " another 6 months of waiting :( " ..but in January petition was aproved :)

How soon should I expect to get the next forms package ?

Does anyone has an answer to my questions pleaseeeeeeeeeeee??

My question is regarding processing times..I still don't get how come these approvals are random and what the date posted on their website actually means (if they are processing APRIL 15 how come some people got approvals when they filed later) How does that work?? Is processing time a reference to when they actually touch and review your case or when they are completing it?? :unsure::huh2::wacko:

Also one more question...is the NOA1 date the receipt date or notice date? On the USCIS website they state that they are currently processing applications with RECEIPT dates of April 15, 2008.

Sorry to keep repeating myself...I would feel much better if I understood how this works! :help:

We just got the news in the mail today that both of our papers are approved. For some reason it has not been updated on the site and we have not received the email that we optioned for, but that does not matter now... WE ARE APPROVED! Now we will just wait our package and interview. Good luck to everyone else who is waiting and most likely you will not wait as long as we have... 10 months... so be happy :whistle: B) :thumbs:
