My recieved her visa yesterday from the delievery service. We were so excited until we saw that the city under my names was misspelled on the visa. We called the us embassy in manila and they said it does not matter. That if we wanted to correct this visa we can but it would be up to us. Also she went to some philippine gorvernment office yesterday to get some type of stamp and they said it does not matter. I check on the embassy website and found what we need to do to get this corrected but I do not want my wife to send her visa to get a correction done that basically everyone is telling us that it does not matter. I going to call the national visa center tonight and ask them about this to see what they say. My question is has anyone gone through this? If so, did it matter if there was some incorrect information on the visa? Any insight would be very helpful.

You got the answer from the issuer of the visa.... they are the ones who should know and care

YMMV
