Re-entry into U.S after G.C

I'm not sure exactly where to post this so feel free to move it!

Ok, so once you get your 2 year G.C and travel outside of the U.S which line do you take once you get off of the plane? I remember there is one for 'citizens' and one for foreign borns. With your G.C, do you still go to the 'foriegn' line?! I ask because I am tentatively planning on visiting home once I have the G.C in hand - I am a British Citizen but will be travelling with my minor daughter who is a U.S citizen. If anyone even understands what I'm talking about - thanks in advance!!!

N-400 Journey

June 9th 2012 - Application sent

June 14th 2012 - NOA sent

June 28th - Biometrics letter sent -- July 26th Appointment date

July 12th 2012 - Early Biometrics/Walk-in

August ( ) - Interview letter received -- September 14th Interview date

September 14th 2012 - Interview! Oath date in hand, September 20th @ noon!

When Kezzie got her 2 year Greencard and we went back to Scotland for a visit we went through the Citizens line on return. We had no problems at all, there were a few LPR in the line at the same time as us.

"RESIDENTS and Citizens" Line. A Green-card holder is a RESIDENT, so follows US Citizens.

Note: Another thing, you do not need to fill out the I-94 card on the plane either.

03-21-08 Received packet for interview

04-22-08 Visa Interview and Visa APPROVED!

05-06-08 Visa received in mail

07-28-08 Wedding Date (Reception was 26th, but forgot to reigster for MC...oops)

10-04-08 Applied for AOS (EAD and AP also)

10-09-08 NOA1 for I-485

10-27-08 I-485 transferred to CSC

11-04-08 I-485 Biometrics appointment

11-13-08 NOA1 for EAD

12-09-08 EAD Biometrics appointment

AP, Doc = NON-Resident. So in this case will need to fill out another I-94, and go through NON-Resident/Visitors line.
