Hi!

I filed for AOS on the 15th of January, and had my check cleared on the 23rd. How long before I should expect an NOA from them. I had submitted an I-130 Petition in November which was touched on Jan. 23rd. Also received a letter on the 23rd that my case transferred to CSC from VSC. Not sure, if its a good thing.

My other question is that if AOS is accepted, I am assuming i shall be receiving a letter regarding my Biometrics. Living in NY, where would I have to go for the biometircs and how much time does it take. Do I have to make an appointment or just walk in.

God Bless you all

10 days to 2 weeks or so for NOA1.

NY is a BIG state, you can look up the ASC for biometrics by your zip code here: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=of...office_type=ASC

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

YuAndDan,

Thank You, I just received(01-26-2009) my NOA1's for I-485, I-131 And I-765. When shall I expect a letter regarding the Biometrics?

My other question is that on the NOA1 for I-485 besides the Receipt Number there is another number starting with A0000000000000. Is that the Alien Number assigned to my case?

Regards

biometrics appointment time will depend on the assigned ASC... typically 2-4 weeks

A# is the Alien number assigned to YOU. This number will be the same and will follow you your entire US life

YMMV
